Drove by it Yesterday and it is just rumble…read more Goldsmith's/Macy's, a cornerstone of Memphis Shopping, long before Oak Court was added in the late 80's. I remember my mother taking us kids there to shop for everything over 50 years ago. Goldsmith's is nothing but blocks of concrete jumbled where a 3 story huge building stood. I knew it closed 2-3 years ago and it was auctioned off (this includes Oak Court Mall not the Offices portion) still stands. I could only stare out my car window and literally cry, as I am doing now. To tell you the truth, I don't know where to shop now. Dallas ? Chicagio? All the malls I use to shop at are all closed. I'll add photos in a few days of Goldsmith's/Oak Court Mall.

Local Lime and City Silo are both fun and delicious places to eat at now. Due to its popularity, on some weekends it's well nigh impossible to find an open parking spot. So, my family and I have adapted to patronizing this area during the middle of the work week. I really like the collection and variety here, and recommend this shopping center as a relatively safe and high-quality location.

The security guard, as well as some customers in the line also asked for help from the manager and she said no to all of us as well.
