This is a great place to stay in the area if you don't have a driving desire to be in the hustle and bustle of downtown McGregor. Don't worry, the drive in is only a few miles. Its a modern home, but quite a nice retreat. The view of the Mississippi is beautiful. And its just very peaceful having a lunch down there. The lower level has a door that looks out on the river and is very spacious. The hosts serve a delicious country breakfast and coffee is on early for us early risers. If you are a horse person they also have lodging for your fine furry friend (furry?). read more
