We served the pot roast, chicken pot pie, a salad and bread. I might be missing something. Kim and her staff also were extremely gracious with helping the venue staff in cutting and serving our wedding cake to guests. To my surprise, my guests were excited to try the Indian food, and we ended up with a ton of leftover food from the Crazy Caterer. It was awesome to be able to take that to our event the next day, which was a music festival in the mountains. The guests raved about the food! We would definitely recommend them for your next event. JoLynn had a team of 3 come out to help us. They were super helpful and worked hard to ensure everything went off without a hitch. They even helped us with desserts and beverage that we didn't purchase from them. If I could give them 10-stars I would. They were so helpful and we felt like a team. Also, because our event was at a ranch location and a little more difficult to stage, I appreciated that JoLynn and Madison met me on site to do a preview of the location. They even brought the chaffing dishes and service items so that I could set up the buffet line with decorations. This was truly an unexpected level of service. I think I've tried every food delivery service out there and Sweetpea + Thyme is as good as it gets. Every single meal I've had from Lizzie & Jen's kitchen the past 6 months has been so tasty. Even when I'm not excited from something on the menu it ends up being incredibly good. The lowdown on how it works: The Friday before: - Lizzie sends an email w/ the menu for the following week (one choice per day: Monday-Thursday). She will also work with any dietary restrictions. - I reply to the email w/ the days we'll be getting food. We typically order for 3 nights/week, which we end up eating all week long (lunches included). - Lizzie emails heat up instructions that even those of us who can't make eggs can handle The day of: 4pm: Lizzie shows up with a bag full of amazing food 6:30-8:30pm: My husband and I negotiate with (and sometimes threaten) 3 children to go to bed 8:30pm: We're hungry and exhausted after a long day of work and negotiating with our children, but we spend a few min heating up the meal 8:40pm: We eat too much of an amazing, but somewhat healthy meal...and sing Lizzie & Jen praises. --- I often bring the leftovers to work and somehow they taste even better (if possible) for lunch the next day. My kids also often enjoy the leftovers for lunch and I've even had my son's teacher ask how I find time to work, take care of 3 kids and make him amazing home cooked lunches. Ha.
