Legit chicken. Fast, friendly, and consistent. I normally get the chicken lunch specials and I think they taste great.

Good good food. I'm never disappointed. Staff is friendly, quick prep, and always still hot when I get home. Recommended

We have tried before and gotten terrible food, waited about a year and tried tonight! We should…read morehave saved our money! The 3.5x6" container was 75% full of water and carrots! It was supposed to be "Garlic chicken", the watery chicken was tiny thin slices about 4 of them, most Garlic Chicken I've ever had is usually grilled or sauteed, not this! Don't waste your money here you can walk to Harris Teeter and buy a decent Sub for less!

Initially, I found out about Asian Grill as it is in the plaza at the entrance to my neighborhood…read more I typically order the lunch specials, specifically the General Tao's Chicken, which has never disappointed. As a graduate student, money is tight and their lunch specials are a great way to avoid paying high costs for good Asian cuisine. Additionally, I find myself unable to eat an entire portion size in one sitting. Everything I have ordered comes with ample amounts of food and can possibly even be shared depending on one's appetite. I am a frequent flyer here and have even brought my girlfriend to which she has enjoyed. Despite all the good, the ambiance is quite bleak including a never crowded inside and basic design. I never eat in, so take my review with a grain of salt if you seek an all-inclusive experience. Overall, Asian Grill is slightly better than your typical hole-in-the-wall restaurant that is affordable and highlighted with great food.

Zen Asian Fusion delivered an incredible sushi experience and made my birthday celebration feel…read moregenuinely special. We sat at the sushi bar, which I highly recommend, and from the moment we sat down it was clear we were in good hands. We were surprised right away with a complimentary amuse‑bouche--crab stick rolled with salmon--which was a thoughtful and delicious touch. To start, I ordered the seaweed salad while Justin went with the ginger salad; both were fresh, balanced, and a perfect lead‑in to the sushi. For the main event, I ordered a spicy tuna roll and eel nigiri, and this is where Zen really shined. The spicy tuna roll was exactly what sushi lovers hope for--very light on rice and heavy on fish, something that's surprisingly hard to find around Charleston. The eel nigiri was rich, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Justin ordered several pieces of sashimi and was equally impressed. We asked about albacore tuna (unfortunately unavailable), but were told the salmon was excellent--and moments later, we were unexpectedly served two additional pieces of sushi each. Completely unexpected and incredibly appreciated, especially for a birthday celebration. Between the quality of the fish, attention to detail, and warm hospitality, Zen Asian Fusion absolutely won us over. We've officially found our new sushi spot and can't wait to come back.

I tried Zen and was pretty impressed at the quality of the sushi and the kitchen items…read more The calamari was good. I love big pieces of squid. Squid is actually my favorite nigiri. You definitely might need to cut it down or maybe half it for a bite but I still loved it. They brought it with a fork and knife, so it's kind of expected. I also ordered the Sambal or yellow curry with chicken. It was pretty good too. It came with a house salad. The dressing on the salad was delicious. The samba curry was really good too. I liked that everything came out hot. I also ordered the SC rainbow. It was good too. I pretty much liked everything I ordered. Id probably order all of those again. Service and ambiance was good. It seemed busier than I expected.

Looking for a cozy, feel-good spot in Summerville? We stopped by Bushido again and it reminded us…read morewhy we loved it from the start. Comforting noodles, fresh sushi, crispy apps... every bite just hits. The space is welcoming, the service is great, the dishes are seriously beautiful, and it's perfect when you want something cozy but still a little elevated.

Quickly, "Yaya" (her name on the receipt) our server was quickly there and soon brought menus and the water as our selected beverage. I ordered the steak bowl lunch ($12.50), with the steak chunks on top of fried rice, with the steak cooked at medium rare as I requested, with the bowl also including sliced mushrooms. As an included side, I had the option of either soup or a small salad. I opted for the salad with ginger dressing. The food was very good and was quite filling. There was extra ginger and mayo flavored sauce on the side which increased the flavor of the steak, a delightful, delicious sauce. This is an out of the way place which any Yelper should visit at least once and decide for yourself. When you check in on Yelp at the Bushido Japanese Restaurant there in the shopping center on Magwood Drive, the restaurant on the Yelp app gives you an option of one of two (free) appetizers. I chose the Gyōza ($7.95 if I had to pay instead of them being free) which are Japanese dumplings, seemingly boiled and slightly roasted. As an aside, there appears to be a contest for people who can handle 10 layers of hot sauce from what I can tell. The rules are in a black background poster placed on the window next to the entry door. See my photo, or go look and try the competition!
