The front wall and roof of the store screamed Candy Candy Candy by it's vibrantly colorful lollipops, gum drops and taffy decor. This was going to be a quick stop since parking on Wilton Drive is limited and notorious for citations by the aggressive meter maid. Based on my concern, the sole employee advised that a few free parking spaces in the rear are available for a strict maximum of fifteen minutes, which is a kind offering. The inside was much larger than the front view of the building reflects. The giant yellow Haribo bear stood proudly by the front door with bags of sour gummies hanging from it's chest. For chocolate enthusiasts, there was an entire section dedicated to fresh chocolate treats. At a quick glance, it was evident that a large amount of the candies were old school big brands. Aside from candies, there were novelty gifts which include coffee mugs with celebrity, pride rainbow and 80's TV shows like Seinfeld, Peanuts or Laverne and Shirley prints. Hundreds of hanging decorative ornaments fill the ceiling but unsure if those are for sale. Very cool candy store with alot of originality and snug parking.

He was patient and explained everything. It was such a fun experience. Everyone got to be hands on. I think a small group is better than a larger one because with a larger group, there would be more downtime because it would literally be too many cooks on the kitchen. Probably 6-8 is the perfect number. It took a little less than 90 min. Boo explained to me that if the kids are older, or if adults do it, they can make cooler candy designs. Great afternoon for all ages. Highly recommend

Seeing that I have minimal experience in Turkish delights I did have a lot of questions and they were ready with the answers. I decided to get baklava which I am familiar with then I had a pistachio flavored iced coffee. What was suppose to be a purchase and leave because a purchase and dine in. The atmosphere and aesthetics made it really comfortable and inviting to enjoy taking a pause and enjoying the location. The employees made tremendous recommendations based on what we liked and they surely were right! I'll be back here again as this will be one of tiny go to spots in the area because of the staff and great coffee with treats! Side note, crepes and many other items are sold here as well!

When I came to pick it up, they had completely forgotten my order. I told myself it wasn't a big deal--mistakes happen. What really bothered me was that the owner didn't make any gesture of goodwill to make up for the mistake. Not even offering something small for free as an apology. I ended up without my birthday cake, and they ended up losing a very good customer.

Keep an eye out for the charming blue-and-white stand topped with American flags, set back from the road, it's easy to miss, but worth seeking out. The Siciliano family has been serving the Miami community for decades. In October 1961, Louis Siciliano opened a sub shop at 711 NW 119th Street in Miami. Although the original location has since closed, the family legacy continues with Siciliano's Frozen Custard and the neighboring Sub Center and Siciliano's Subs, all operated by members of the Siciliano family. Don Drybread, Louis Siciliano's great-grandson, originally opened the custard stand as Uncle Tony's Frozen Custard before renaming it Siciliano's in honor of his mother's side of the family. Siciliano's specializes in frozen custard, which differs from traditional ice cream by containing egg yolks and being churned with less air. The result is a denser, richer, silkier dessert with a smooth texture. It's also served at a slightly warmer temperature than ice cream, allowing you to savor its rich flavor. The custard is made fresh throughout the day, ensuring the perfect consistency every time. Custard is offered in the classic flavors of vanilla, chocolate, and a twist of both, available in cups or cones with your choice of nuts, candy, fruit, or sauce toppings. The menu also features sundaes, sorbet, milkshakes, and their signature thick Hurricanes. For something a little different, Carolyn's Creations transforms the custard into treats like cannolis, dessert tacos, and ice cream sandwiches. I ordered a medium vanilla custard topped with butterscotch and it was so satisfying. The rich, creamy custard made the perfect treat on a hot summer day. There isn't any indoor seating, but there are picnic tables next to the Sub Center, which is great spot to savor your sub or custard.
