There's one in particular that I see more than the others, and she goes out of her way to be helpful when machines malfunction. Also a plus is the wash card, where you get a dollar amount back after getting it stamped numerous times. The amount of stamps you get depends on the number and size of washers used. I usually get my cash back and use it for the dryers. I would give this place a 5 until recently. Over the last 2 years, I am disappointed. There are numerous machines with problems, and sometimes do not have a lot of water flowing inside while the clothes are washing. I added water a couple of times. Also some of the larger machines in the front have a closure issue, with the "door" light flashing until you maneuver it into position. They are older machines and maybe not serviced frequently enough. Usually the washers are working, but I'm not surprised if they don't. Just let the attendant know. There are 36 dryers, and sometimes up to 20% are out of service. It's very unusual for them all to be working, which gets challenging when it's very busy. Also depending on the time of day, there may be an error code because the filters need to be emptied. This usually happens on the later shift. Besides those things, it's not a bad place. I continue to come here because I like the attendants, they are always pleasant. I just hope at some point the owners put a little more effort into maintaining the machines. The seating area has donated books and magazines, a snack machine, a drink machine, an ATM, and a rest room for customers. You can also go next door to Passion Vines & have a drink, or hit up Big Lots, Target, PetSmart, or ACME while your clothes are washing.

I must also add that she never charges her customers a price that is overpriced and expensive in cost! The finished product of her tailoring is also amazing, Maggie, spends hours working on all projects she takes on, and she always double checks each item so that her clients when they try the clothes on before they have to wear them are in awe of her ability. I must also add that when you bring in your Dry Cleaning" and pay in full, you will receive a 10% discount! I can state that every item that is dry cleaned is treated with tender loving care and if you want your shirts folded, they are placed in a box!

Out of principle I paid her $1 for the effort but since it was not fixed, I didn't feel it was right to pay in full whether it was $3 or $300 which I explained to her. She threw the $1 bill at me and started screaming at me. I left immediately and got in my car. The woman proceeded to chase me out of her store, tried to open my car door multiple times (luckily I locked it), and pounded on my window all while screaming at me. I am level headed person and I have never been treated like this by anyone. This woman was clearly disturbed and very, very unprofessional. I was worried for my safety. I rolled down my window snd handed her $2, the remainder of my payment, hoping she would back off but she refused to take it.

Since April of Shine Like a Diamond Cleaning responded so dishonestly to my first review - I am now…read moremaking this a Totally negative review with a zero or "less than zero" rating. I contacted April's business for a house cleaning, as I had purchase a previously owned home and wanted it cleaned before I moved in (like a move-in or move-out cleaning like people often do when they buy a different home). If the government checked phone records they would see that Daren made the first contact with the supposed "good" general contractor he recommended to do things like remodel the kitchen. Daren (with - April standing there) called "Jimmy" on his phone saying that my house needed some remodeling including the kitchen. That started the "Jimmy" scam of taking my money for work done wrong, work not done at all - but paid for, and other theft. Many people have looked at the house since, and were horrified how April and Daren's friend "Jimmy Massaro" damaged the home, and charged me outrageously for it. April and Daren most certainly knew who they were recommending! Others have seen the house since, and can't believe how "Jimmy" damaged an otherwise visually pleasing home. If it has become a money pit - it is because I have had to have Jimmy's bad work torn out, and redone by others (including having to throw away damaged materials I had paid for, and repurchase them). April and Daren's recommendation of Jimmy, and Jimmy's bad work, led to money problems with the house - it wasn't the house itself causing the great losses. April and Daren should be ashamed of themselves for: sending an odd stranger (without any cleaning supplies or his own vacuum) to "clean my house" . They charged me around $500 for pretty much nothing. April and Daren were defiantly part of the "con-to- scam me. I was an older, female, from out of town - and must have looked like ripe pickings for a scam and financial gain. While I was hurt by their scam in this lifetime, these three people, if not punished now, will be punished on their reckoning day. The Lord does not like people who are involved with stealing from others. April, Daren, and James Massaro need to read about what happens to thieves according to the Bible. It is said that there are some people who are either born without a conscious, or never developed one. James Massaro was probably born without a conscious, and April and Daren probably stunted the growth of their consciouses by their quest for financial gain - even though that meant hurting others. PS. April claims I waited a year to leave a negative review of her. The reason is that the house problems showed up in layers over that time, as Jimmy's work had to be torn out. (Example: Jimmy drywalled the kitchen "before" the electrical was done. Jimmy said the electricians could just fish wires up from the basement and down from the upstairs for electrical service. Why? Because Jimmy's contact said he received a drawl for drywall. (He didn't care that the wrong order of doing drywall would cost the electricians more time and me more expense in the long run). Plus doing the drywall quickly covered up things Jimmy did wrong with the kitchen framing).
