No attempt to take a message, transfer me, or even ask what I needed -just attitude and a dead line. If this is how they treat people over the phone, I genuinely don't know why anyone would trust them to book an appointment, let alone show up in person. I really hope the in-person service is better than this, because the phone experience alone is enough to make me take my business elsewhere.

I get there 5 min early and call him and he says he's out and will be back 15-20. When he comes back it's obvious that he went out to smoke weed. That's all you could smell. The haircut took over 50 minute because of the things he had to keep going back over and redoing. I asked for a straight razor on my neck like I always get at other barbers in SD. I don't think it was a clean razor and then he nicks my neck three times. He doesn't say anything until I ask him because I could feel it. So much more I wish I never came to him and highly recommend if you want a decent cut to anywhere else.

He's the perfect combo of professional, personal, and consistent--always takes the time to listen to exactly how I want my cut and then nails it every single time. On top of that, his prices are super reasonable. I've been to other shops that charge way more for way less, but with Aaron, I always leave looking sharp and feeling like I should've tipped more (and usually do). The shop itself has a laid-back vibe, and Aaron makes every cut feel like you're catching up with a friend--a friend who just happens to be really, really good with clippers. Highly recommend him if you're tired of overpriced cuts and want someone who actually listens.

There are places in the area of that location that give great cuts (barber shops) starting at $25. That said, I'm not sure how long they will last unless they lower their prices.
