I called two other appliance repair places and they both said Friday was the soonest they could get over. Then I called Register and they said Tuesday and I said, "Bring it!" An hour later they called back and said we can come in an hour. WooHoo! Dave arrived on time and with several alerts both from the company and from Dave that he was on his way. Alas, the fridge needed a part that had to be ordered and it would be Wednesday between 12:30-5:00 before they'd have it and could get back. Dave arrived on Wednesday at noon (with alerts beforehand, as before). Was not cheap, but was entirely reasonable and way less than a new fridge. So again, highly recommended!
