Best place for your bike. They always have anything I may need and really helped me the last time I was there. The brakes required some specific parts and skills to be fixed and they did it all, and on a good price too. read more

This is the place where motorcycle lovers should go to get the bike of their dreams…read more A motorbike isn't everyone's cup of tea. But if you fancy one, then this is the place to be. Most leading brands of motorcycles are sold here. All variations and colors for everyone. My friend bought one from here and I checked out the place with him. And decided to buy mine from there too. Honda CBR 125R. I was particular about getting a black one. Thanks to Ian Harrington from Sales department who got my wish fulfilled. He got all the finance documents ready and got the specific color just as I requested and let me know in advance about any delays that might be involved in getting it. If you feel like you need a Honda/Triumph/or several other brands, feel free to post a question on their website and they'll get in touch as quickly as possible. I must say, the entire process of buying the bike from requesting a particular model, arranging finance and collecting the bike, was so smooth, that all I had to do was provide the details necessary for the finance application Ian kept me informed throughout the process. And now I have what I wanted! I'm very pleased with how easy they've made it feel. I totally recommend Metropolis for the sales bit. I'll know more about their services over the coming years, so I'll keep you posted with updates.

Does get quite busy at times, but the staff are good at managing footfall and offering good customer service throughout.

I've only used this branch a few times (I've been going to the Portland Street branch for over 15 years) but the staff have been friendly and knowledgeable. They allowed me to browse the bikes even thought it was past closing time - they seemed more interested in helping another customer than getting away themselves. They also recommended some consumables to me which were cheaper than the ones I might have used. So, two good signs of customer service.

I have to add that I drive a Vespa, and they do seem to specialise in Piaggio bikes, so I can't speak for other bike users. In my experience they're quick, fix the problem (which sounds obvious but doesn't always happen some places) and don't take the mickey with the bill (again not a given). For my money, they do seem to be the premier scooter repair place around.

I was able to find a comfortable helmet and a sturdy chain lock, and get 10% off with the Yelp check-in offer. The guy who helped me out was very friendly and gave me a list of things to check on the used Vespa to make sure I wasn't getting a bad deal. He gave me L plates for free, too! Afterwards, I ended up buying the scooter, and realizing I needed more than just a helmet and chain, dropped by again to purchase a scooter cover, a reflective hi-vis belt, and a phone stand. Overall a 5-star experience!

The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and were extremely helpful to a friend of mine who is just starting out in biking in providing advice on kit. Prices are more expensive than on the web, but they do have some great offers and you can of course try stuff on, which you can't on-line, ad they'll provide advice as well. They also have a crash helmet recycling service, where old helmets are sent to West Africa where they are used for passengers on motorcycle taxis, whose owners would not otherwise be able to afford any protection.

Was told they don't have any parts in stock and it'll most likely, in the best case take about a month for the required part to arrive. That means I can't make ends meet, can't pay my rent and can't eat or drink. When I asked them if they could provide me a vehicle to work with while the bike's in warranty I was just told that they don't have any. Didn't bother to help me out in any way whatsoever. They don't care about their customers, not one bit. Took away 3 and a half grand from me and told me to sort myself out. Ripped me off big time. Stay away from them and do not, under any circumstances buy ANYTHING from this company.

As a lover and rider of old motorcycles I find it can be difficult to find parts from time to time…read more There are a number of great shops I can go and get a great sense of community and any number of good online dealers where the selection of parts is good, but retuning them can be a pain and the service impersonal. With these things in mind you can imagine how happy I was to find that World's End Motorcycles was as close at hand as it is. I found out about them when one of their guys came to buy an old Honda off me after I had run its little engine into the ground. I popped down to the warehouse in Portslade a week or two later after a part for my new bike. When I asked after my old Honda I was told that they had set it up with a new engine and that it was now once more on the road. That's just what these guys are about. They have one of the largest selections of motorcycle parts under one roof I've ever seen and you get the very real impression that they actually care. There's not a great deal in the way of accessories or clothing so you lose a little of the excitement of a real trip to the bike shop but in terms of the nuts and bolts of things (excluding Brit bikes) they excel. So for those of you with something like a 1990 GS1000, next time a piece of aging fairing gives way or you need a new chain on the cheap then give these guys a shout or just head down.
