Small but really nice. About 6-7 vendors selling a nice variety of veggies, fruits, flowers, meats, baked goods, and one selling cooked something-or-other for a meal to eat there. We will definitely be coming here again! Most of the items *we think* are locally-grown, but cannot absolutely verify this. I was sorry that I didn't get many pictures, because I was holding my arepa and lemoncane drink. The ambiance was open and spacious. Unfortunately, they are only open for the next weekend. But, now that I know they are there I will keep a lookout for them. The only downside is the parking. I parked a couple blocks away and walked. It was a lovely day, so I enjoyed the walk. Arepateca was my favorite vender and I got a tres leches cake, a brisket arepa, and my lemoncane drink. It was delicious. So, if you are near Rockville City, I would recommend checking them out.

The market is located in the parking lot right in front of the Arlington courthouse. There were over 50 vendors presenting appealing empanadas, cheeses, produce, mushrooms, pickles, teas, donuts, pork, coffee, cakes, juices, Dutch Stroopwaffles, oil, gelato, fish ... Fresh this week are leeks, asparagus, Brussels Sprouts, kohlrabi & rhubarb. The samples were better than I expected: a bite of the fresh crabcake wasn't what I'm used to and the warm homemade Dutch Stroopwafel was even better than the ones I tried in Amsterdam I'm impressed that the vendors accept SNAP/EBT, WIC & Senior FMNP checks. Fresh Match provides a dollar to dollar match on all federal benefits spent at this market. Shoppers are buying twice as much fresh produce & nutritious foods.

Located at the Crofton Library parking lot, parking for the Market is onsite - front and back parking lot options, street parking and the church across the street provides parking. Open at 8am - noon and food trucks until 2pm on Saturday's, I saw any and everything you could imagine. Farm fresh produce, pies, goats milk soap, freshly pressed juices, speciality cookies and cupcakes, and EMPANADAS! We were like kids in a candy store, so clearly everything I just listed, we purchased. All of the vendors we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The Farmers Market opens in May and closes for the season in November. My top 3 vendors, Sugar Butter Love, DMV Empanadas, and the Goats Milk Soap vendor - sorry can't remember their name. All had quality options to purchase. The Market has a website to check out the vendors that will be on display, as well as social media pages. I was impressed and will absolutely be back! Note to the wise, bring a reusable bag or two to collect your purchased items. I even brought an insulated bag for my hot/cold items.

Compared to others I've been to recently, it's definitely on the smaller side. I'd say there was about 5 food spots there, 2 other random popups (like body care), and then your go-to produce. Food options included some amazing brownies and cookies, a Thai food truck I'm very fond of, BBQ, and one or two others I feel like I'm forgetting. A DJ was spinning some awesome beats that really set the vibe. Parking can get a little tricky though -- it doesn't have to get too crowded before you're forced to park in the grass, and it gets a little hilly. The road is fairly small, so if there's one backup (like waiting for someone to move), a line of cars can easily form. All that to say, I'm quite glad I dropped by this market finally -- there are some hyperlocal awesome businesses to check out.

The chocolate eclairs that I got from the Capital Harvest on the Plaza farmers market in DC was divine. The pastries rotate around different farmers markets, will have to check out their Tyson's location! Twin Valley Distilleries - The whiskey and flavored rum tasting was too tempting to pass up a bottle! The sweetness of the fresh juices perfectly masked the rum, cutting the alcohol content to 15% ABV. Refreshing and perfect for a warm summer day with a nice kick! We bought all 3 flavored rums at $25/each - Hibiscus Sorrel, Fruit Punch, and Pineapple. Potomac Sweets - The croissants and decadent pastries looked scrumptious! Although the pastries are stored in a glass display case, they are still baking under the sun and are dry and stale. The brownie was alright. Recommend grabbing a pastry here bright and early when the market opens. Senzu Juice - Refreshing cold-pressed juices. The "Refresh" Watermelon Mint juice is my favorite. Liberty Delight Farms - All sorts of dog goodies from raw bones to chunky pieces of dried beef heart and chicken/beef liver. Treat your dog at the market! Great place to grab some breakfast and some treats to take home!

This is not an exhaustive list, but you get the idea. very good and very friendly. you have to ring the dinner bell if no one is there and they will come out of the house and wait on you. unfortunately, they are seasonal and this year (2008), Oct 4 will be their last day because the weather is getting colder. they plan to reopen in March. they also do snow removal in the winter if you call ahead.
