Terrible experience. I saw the other negative reviews (on Google), but because I receive a Hertz discount through my employer, I thought I'd give it a go. I booked a reservation online with a 4:30 pick-up appointment, fairly simple process. However, I later needed to change the time for the pick-up to 11:30. I was unable to edit the appointment online, so I called the location directly (this is what the website instructed I do). The first time I called, I was put through to an automated voice service stating I should call back during business hours, even though I was currently calling during business hours - I even double checked because I thought maybe I was wrong! I called back the following day and got through to a young man. I told him I had booked a rental on their website, but I needed to change the time of the pick-up. I gave him the time and location, which he confirmed they are familiar with. Later that evening, I received a confirmation email which showed a pick-up of 4:30 - the original, incorrect pick-up time. I called back on the next business day (the day prior to my appointment) to confirm the time had been changed since the email showed the wrong time. I was told the change had not been made, but that it would be fixed. The man I spoke with this time advised they are unable to make such changes in the computer, but he would make sure it was changed and that there would be a pick-up made available at 11:30. Fast forward to the time of my appointment, no pick-up. After 10 minutes (I understand traffic happens) I called the location and spoke with a lady, I believe her name is Kelsey. I told her I had an 11:30 pick-up appointment and wanted to check that someone was on their way. She advised she did not currently have a pick-up scheduled, and the only reservation she had under my name was for 4:30. I explained to her I had made multiple attempts to change the pick-up time and spoke with two individuals over the phone and was told by both the pick-up time would be adjusted. She said she would have someone sent out to me as soon as possible. I asked what the eta would be and she advised a driver was returning from another location and would be back to the store in about 15 minutes. My pick-up location was 13 minutes (per Google Maps) from their store, so my pick-up time would be roughly 45 minutes after my requested time. She asked what size vehicle I wanted and I told her I didn't remember if I selected small or midsize, but whatever was listed on the reservation. She said at this time she only had a large vehicle available and asked if that would be ok. I asked if I would have to pay the higher rate for the larger vehicle and she said yes because that's all she has and she did not plan on having a smaller vehicle ready until 4:30. I said ok, fine. I then hung up and called another local rental company and asked if they had availability for a pick-up and rental. The man I spoke with asked if I needed a pick-up right then, and I said if you have someone available, yes. He said no problem, I'll find someone. I called and cancelled the reservation with Hertz.
