Our family has been absolutely deserted by Hertz. We rented a car from France, lost our car rental keys in Luxembourg, and our car has been sitting in a parking garage FOR OVER A WEEK. With our stuff in it. Hertz has been an absolute NIGHTMARE. They have left us stranded without a solution for 8 days and counting. We have 4 young children, are in holiday, and have spent all our time on the phone. This has completely ruined our plans and we have lost so much money because of them. They are supposed to either send us duplicate keys or tow it and give us a replacement for a "lost keys" fee of $300. They haven't done either. Every time we are given another number to call. NO ONE WILL HELP US. We travel A LOT and this has been our worst experience yet. For a COMMON mistake!!! Hertz has had the worst customer service we've ever experienced. read more
