Travel Safe Bus Hire

Travelsafe Melbourne we're tasked with collecting guests and transporting them to a wedding I was…read moreinvolved in. 25 minutes after the booked arrival time they had not arrived. We called repeatedly and continued to be lied to about the driver's whereabouts while the guests waited in the wind and the rain. Eventually it got to 70 minutes after the agreed arrival with ongoing dishonesty about the driver's whereabouts, leading to a delay in the wedding and unnecessary stress to all involved. At this point we had to bite the bullet and cancel the service. Zero stars.

First problem - the coach arrived 40 minutes late to the pick up destination to collect our guests and accepted no responsibility for this whatsoever. They actually tried to claim that this was somehow my responsibility for not allowing more time! Second problem - after arriving 40 minutes late, they then insisted my guests wait for a smaller bus to arrive as they claimed the coach I booked was not suitable to travel the road to the location of the wedding. This is complete rubbish as the winery we married at had buses of the exact size attending every weekend without issue. I checked this with the venue (Longview winery) before booking. Third problem - when addressing these issues with management after commencing our wedding nearly two hours later than scheduled and missing the time we had allocated for taking photos, the indignant person I spoke with claimed that all of the problems were MY responsibility as I failed to allow enough time and that I should have known that the bus THEY booked for me, was not suitable (even though it was). So - if you don't feel confident that you have a more an intimate knowledge of the roads of Adelaide than a company who books coaches for a living OR you do not want to worry that your coach won't even make the pick up destination on time, let alone your venue, then I strongly suggest you use another company.

I used them for 4 transfers, and they were all perfect. I worked with Collin to confirm my services and that was super easy. Their Driver Rob picked our group up twice both times with a lot of luggage getting off a cruise and then back to the cruise port for another cruise. Rob did an amazing job and was wonderful to work with. A Hugh thank you to Rob for being so amazing!!!!! We also had a great driver when our group need to get to the Guys and Dolls show on the harbor. Our driver went out of his way to make sure that the drop off location had little walking as we had some people with mobility issues. He then picked us up at the exact location and time aggreged. Among the many cars at the pick-up time he was on time and the perfect location for our pick-up. The next time I have a group in Sydney, this is the Charter Bus company I will only use. A big thank you for taking such good care of my group. Thank you so much!!! Joann LTE Travel USA

Plenty more to come, but I'm going to run out of free time soon. If Yelp opened up Mexico and South America, I would really kick butt. The town of Wentworth Falls is located 100 km west of the Sydney central business district on the Blue Mountains rail line and the Great Western Highway. The town of Katoomba, at the top of the mountain, is 8 km west. It is high up here with an elavation of 867 metres (2,844 ft). In the 2006 census, Wentworth Falls had a population of 5,650. In 1815, Governor Lachlan Macquarie named the township Jamison's Valley after a leading private citizen of the NSW colony, Sir John Jamison. In July 1867, the first railway journey to the Blue Mountains left Penrith station to Weatherboard Station, where the train terminated. In 1879, the township was renamed after a nearby system of waterfalls (Wentworth Falls), which themselves were named after William C. Wentworth, of the group Blaxland. Lawson and Wentworth that explored a path over the mountains in 1813. Not sure why they didn't just take the Great Western Highway, or the train - they pass right through here. Perhaps lack of funds put them on foot. Later on Charles Darwin stayed here and hiked up to the Jamison Valley near Echo Point. Wonder if he found any evolution along the way. This entire area is sacred to the Darug, Wiradjuri and Gandangara Aboriginal people, who used the area as a gathering place for at least 22,000 years. Wentworth Falls station opened in 1867 when the rail line came through, called the Main Western Line. It was called Weatherboard station then, after The Weatherboard Inn. A cute little railway station. Travel time to or from Sydney's Central station is two hours on a nice sleek train. When we lived in Faulconbridge, about 15 km east, we used to come up here to bushwalk on the falls trails, which begin close to the station. Bring your train schedule if you get the train; the trains are not frequent.
This is a review on my recent purchase from Penrith City Motors and the subsequent customer service…read moreI received after my purchase. I have been trying to buy a number of Smart Cars for a promotion that we were running, so I had a strict guidelines to follow in what I wanted... Penrith City Motors Advertised a 2006 Smart Fortwo Sequential Auto..... Ok that didn't cover what I needed, the cars can be no older than 2007 on the date of compliance (this was for finance reasons) so I phone the salesman and he assured me that the date of compliance was indeed Jan 2007, he also confirmed that the Car was a Sequential Automatic. Great.... Now the car was low mileage 65,000 and advertised as good condition, so I asked the salesman to confirm this and he assured me that the car was in-fact in excellent condition with very low ks... The car was in Sydney I live in Hervey Bay shipping cost was going to be $850 so we agreed to have the car shipped to Brisbane for $350 and I would collect it from Brisbane... I collected the car from a waste yard on fisherman's Island ks from anywhere, only to find that it had 1 ltr of fuel, (Smart Cars actually tell you how much fuel they have by the litre). And on closer inspection I found that the car wasn't a Sequential Automatic but a Sequential Manual. (A Sequential Manual means that YOU MUST change the gears yourself without the use of a clutch, Sequential Automatic means that you can drive the car as a full Automatic without having to change gears) The lady that was going to drive this car only has one arm and has So I had bought an Automatic and got a Manual, Ok what else is wrong with the car... The passenger's window did not work.... Both remote mirrors did not work correctly The washers did not work The radio did not work The overall appearance of the car and the feel of the car was best describe as "tired" if it had only done 65,000k then they were 65,000 hard ks..... So I stopped there, Ok they have made a mistake and sold me the wrong car, I'll go home and we'll get this sorted... So I wrote to them explaining that they have Sold me an Automatic and in fact delivered a Manual..... Response.... Absolutely Nothing...... So I wrote again..... Response Absolutely Nothing..... So I wrote a third time, this time however I threatened to go to NSW fair trading.... Response Absolutely Nothing.... Ok Fine.... NSW Fair Trading will sort this out.... Or will they... Spoke to a George Galea Automotive Inspector Motor Vehicle Services Unit Customer Services Division Fair Trading NSW Their response:- yea spoken to Penrith City Motors they say "you knew it was a manual when you bought it......" But I didn't, i bought a Automatic it even says on the Invoice Automatic..... and that is what I bought..... Yea.... they are saying you knew it was a Manual... Best bet is to take them to court, I can't do anything else.... But if I take them to court it's going to cost me a lot of money and a lot of time.... Yea..... that's why dealers get away with it, because people don't bother.... Then what's your job, if not to look out for my rights.... Sorry, I can advise you only... I'll send you a link to NCAT Good day... Well so much for having the law on my side, go to a dealer as they have strict guidelines that they must adhere to.... Bullsh*t.... So I could take them to court ....eventually.... and get my money back...but what about:- Delivery cost... Finance Broker Costs Credit Company Costs Settlement Fee Costs All the time spent on this.... So whatever way it was going to cost me and cost me dear.... So that is why I am warning you not to make the same mistake as I did..... NEVER buy a car from Penrith City Motors over the internet, because you never know what you will get.....

We took the cable to the bottom of the canyon, walked the longer path of the boardwalk, then got on the Federal Pass to the Giant Staircase. The trail is well maintained. As it rained our whole time there, the trail had only a few puddles despite all the water. It's not very difficult until the staircase. We went up the staircase, and given the conditions, I'm very glad we were going that direction. The steps and railings can get slippery in the rain and some of the rock formed steps are not as level as I'd like them, so going up felt safer. We walked along the Prince Henry Cliff Walk to get to the Scenic World SkyTram to get back to the main building. Unfortunately, anything that was over 30 yards in front of us was a sea of fog. We still enjoyed the experience. For travel, we took the train from Sydney, walked to Scenic World from the train station and took the bus back to the train station. Very easy to figure out.
