THE SCENE: This park is seriously one of the best in Hessen. It's got lots of really beautiful trees, a lake with plenty of geese and ducks that are interesting to watch, a bocce / pétanque area, and lots of really interesting areas for kids to play, including a dirt track for bikes or R/C cars, a friggin' zipline rail for kids to zipline along, and some basic playground equipment. All in all, this park is very relaxing to spend a quiet Sunday afternoon with the family or take the kids to play at. There's lots of young lovers as well enjoying each others companies and picnics. THE RESTAURANT: In the middle of the park there's also a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend the outdoor seating area, grabbing a beer or Spritz and a small bite to eat. They also have nice meals you can get that are tasty! I had the roast pork meal when I was there with an apple wine (Apfelwein) spritz that was refreshing and delicious on a perfect afternoon! read more
