The next day, I wasn't sore or stiff. I've learned that if I don't visit him after hard work like that, I'm sore for three days or more. Another time, I visited and described some symptoms. He said my best route was see an MD, as it sounded like I had an infection. There was no charge for that visit. Once, I hurt my hand and we were worried it might be seriously hurt. Calling several clinics, I was told to visit a doctor who would order an x-ray, then we'd drive somewhere else to get the x-ray, then wait at least two days for the doctor to get the results and ask us to come back for a diagnosis. Instead, I visited Dr. Nanninga where he examined my hand, took an x-ray, interpreted the results, and told me it could be broken. He then called a friend who was an orthopedic doctor and made an appointment to see me immediately, where it turned out I needed a cast or it may not have healed correctly. Dr. Nanninga's priority is you. He is extremely careful, doesn't promise any miracle cures, and will quickly refer you elsewhere if that's what is best.

I had previously seen many chiropractors for many years regarding this same injury, but Dr. Aaron was the only one to diagnose me properly and actually heal my injury instead of just prolonging my "no pain" time. When I became pregnant, I started seeing Dr. Kurt on a monthly basis to help with mobility and to prevent any larger problems. I am convinced that Dr. Kurt kept me healthy and pain free during my entire pregnancy. After my son was born, I continued to see Dr. Kurt as we worked through new motherhood "injuries,"including tendonitis from picking up my son too many times! These guys are not your typical "back cracker" chiros. They really know their stuff. My husband sees Dr. Aaron for sports maintenance and he always swears that Dr. Aaron watches him walk in the door and knows exactly where he hurts that day. Dr. Aaron, Dr. Kurt, and Dr. Gary take pride in continuing their education and are always learning new techniques and earning new certificates or accreditation. I trust that I am in the best hands when I walk in their office, and I know I wouldn't find that peace of mind anywhere else. Their office staff is wonderful to work with and super accommodating. I have had to reschedule many of my appointments and they are always able to get me in quickly when it works with my schedule. They have cash prices for people without insurance and are willing to work with you on payment plans. I cannot recommend these guys enough!
