Our main concern was we needed a photography team that was just as excited about our same-sex wedding as we were. After visiting with 3 potential photography companies we knew Holly Ireland was the most fun and of course had the best style to their photography. During our engagement session I think we worked them for the entire time we were entitled to. Three different locations all over San Diego County. Never once did they complain. Finally, for our wedding, they worked their butt off and produced photos that were beautiful and Instagram worthy. Being "customers for life" Holly shot our Christmas photos as well. She was great with kids. I can't wait to work with them again.

We were initially planning a March 2018 wedding, before finally settling on September 2018. Holly was great and very flexible with us changing dates around. I met Holly and her husband Bruce before hiring them - they left a great first impression, they are full of energy, professional & great people. Holly photographed our engagement photos in an unconventional way. My now husband was coming home from a 6 month deployment on a submarine & I wanted to have a photographer there and have those as our engagement pictures since we had gotten engaged right before he left on deployment. He came home from his last deployment in May 2017. Holly was very accommodating with our situation and not knowing a lot of details ahead of time due to operational security. The photos turned out beautiful, and we even got shots with my husbands family that was visiting from out of town. Holly made everyone feel comfortable and got through the pictures in a timely manner! Fast forward to our September 2018 wedding, I had sent Holly inspirational pictures that I wanted re-created on our wedding day & she made sure that we got them all! Holly and I had a phone call about a week before the wedding to discuss family shots and not to miss pictures, she provided lots of great suggestions along with taking my ideas into account as well. Holly was prompt on our wedding day meeting the ladies at the hotel and got to shooting straight away. I knew that Holly would blend in just fine with the moms and girls, she's professional yet personable. Bruce usually shoots with Holly on wedding days but he had a family accident and was unable to attend. Holly provided a wonderful substitute photographer - Derek of Derek Chad Photography. He was a wonderful addition and blended right in. You could tell that they had a great connection as photographers and worked well together! Holly and Derek were both extremely accommodating on our wedding day - they were available to us when there were group shots we wanted to get, yet they made sure not to miss all the details. The turnaround time for our pictures was phenomenal, I was in awe of how fast Holly returned the photos to us, she had the photos to us NINE DAYS after the wedding! I've heard of some people having to wait months, I'm very impressed with the turnaround time and the quality of Holly's photography! Holly was familiar with our venue and our getting ready location, the Coronado Community Center and the Glorietta Bay Inn. We were running a bit behind on the wedding day - Holly ensured that we were still able to get in all of the pictures and navigated Coronado like a pro! We are so pleased with the final product & the delivery of the product! I can't wait to display the photography around our future house and share with our families for the holidays. I hope to work with Holly in the future for all of our photography needs! Holly is professional, attentive to detail, and always energetic - you can't go wrong with booking Holly for any photography needs!

She is truly the kind of photographer I would recommend to every single bride without hesitation. If I could give one piece of advice to future brides, it would be to choose true professionals who are not only talented but also deeply experienced. That is exactly who Pauline and why she is the photographer every bride needs in her corner on wedding day. From the very start, Pauline made me feel so supported. She didn't just show up with a camera, she brought wisdom, calm, and the kind of guidance that is needed. She also connected me with two other incredible creatives, Carly from Black Shutter Media for videography and Bianca from BTS by Beee for content creation. Together, they were the DREAM TEAM working seamlessly to capture every angle of the most important day of my life. Pauline's shooting style is unlike anything I've ever seen before. She takes the time to understand your vision and then elevates it into something even more breathtaking. The photos she delivered bring me to tears every time I look at them. Photos are forever and it felt like a lot of pressure to find someone who we could trust to both capture our day authentically and in a style that felt like us, while also keeping us calm and comfortable in the process (I mean- you end up spending just as much time with your photographer as you do with your spouse!) We took careful time to research many different photographers and there is no doubt in my mind that we made the BEST choice by hiring Pauline. She exceeded all expectations and was truly such a special part of our day. From our initial conversation, I was immediately drawn to Pauline's kind, gentle spirit. We also fell in love with Pauline's timeless photography style. Her photos look real (not overly filtered as so many often do). She captures moments in such a beautiful, classic, and authentic way. We knew that the photos she took would never go out of style and would perfectly capture this moment in time for us. Pauline photographed both our engagement photos and our wedding. She was highly communicative and organized throughout the entire process. She worked hand in hand with our coordinator and other vendors to ensure a smooth day. She was one of the first vendors we booked. As we booked other vendors and told them we were working with Pauline, they immediately sung her praises and were excited to get to work with her again, too! There were a lot of photos I wanted captured and she built out a clear and organized timeline that we were able to share with everyone who needed to be photographed. The day ran so smoothly that we were actually ahead of schedule! Your wedding day can be filled with little butterflies, but Pauline just has such a naturally calming presence. She helped us all feel at ease and so comfortable. What I also really appreciated was that she allowed my husband and I the space to soak in the tiny in between moments and enjoy every bit of the day together. When we got our sneak peek photos back from her, we were floored! They are SO GOOD. We could not be more grateful to have gotten to work with Pauline.

I sent my daughter the links of all the photographers, and she too selected Leigh, so, we moved forward with booking. We had no idea what to expect, only that my daughter wanted her session at the beach. We met Leigh there and she had already found a few places she wanted to take pictures. The scenery, the lighting, and the moments she captured were absolutely perfect! She seemed to have a natural way about bringing out my daughter's personality immediately. She spent nearly two hours all over the area capturing shots I would never have imagined. I didn't have to worry about a thing; just let her do her work, and that's exactly what I needed.
