Everything you're reading is absolutely true, and I cannot wait to change my primary care provider. This man should have his license reviewed and revoked because I don't believe he's an actual doctor, and how he maintains his license is beyond me. This man's inaction with the concerns I brought to him has landed me in the hospital TWICE with serious life-threatening conditions because he refused to do any kind of examination when I would come to see him. Neither time did he take any kind of look at me or inspect the areas that cause problems, he sat behind his computer, at his desk, and did nothing. He looked up his doctors WebMD to see what fit my problems and prescribed me brand name medication based on the result. I asked if I could please at least show him the problem, and he said he didn't need to see it. WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR IS THIS?! Due to the lack of his actions, I ended up in the hospital with a major staph infection that had to be opened up and drained, at the one place that he wouldn't take a look at even after I asked him to. As far as his office is concerned, they are completely inept. They never send paperwork when they're supposed to, referrals that are made are never made or sent in unless I hound them about it, and they "Forget" to send in lab orders, causing me to have to reschedule constantly which just ends up with me and more hot water physically. None of the people in this office, including the doctor himself do their jobs, and I have paid dearly for it with my health and wallet in the end. We have been coming to see Dr. Hernandez for over 20 years, since I was a little kid and so much has changed. The staff is horrible, very disrespectful and not helpful at all. Dr. Hernandez has changed so much I don't know if because he is older and has less patience as well as he sees way to may patients a day and only sees you for a couple of minutes and start writing your prescription without letting you explain what your feeling. I had to finally say this is enough and changed to another doctor. So sad because I have been taking my kids here as well. I work in the medical field and have never seen how mean and rude all the receptionist are especially Letty. Now she is the manager and honestly she yells at you and makes you feel so bad. read more

On my first visit the nurse confused me with other patients. The doctor was very nice to me and seemed caring bit his staff need to go back to school and learn how to treat patients. They ate absolutely Rude specially Letti front desk . She wanted me to wait for an X-ray order for 2 hrs after my appointment because she said they where now at lunch . This is the worse dr office ever. The old staffs are gone and the new ones are so rude. The doctor told me to come grab some paperwork I came knocked on the door waited 10 minutes and nothing. Called more than 10 mins and no one would answer. My mom had an appointment today and I was told to bring her to get her to get her vitals done. I knocked knocked knocked then started knocking harder since last time I was told maybe you didn't knock loud enough so next time knock harder. This lady came out with a mad face and started to look at me like she needs some god damn coffee and has a nasty attitude. How the hell you gonna tell people to come and then dont open the door and if you knock hard they get mad? Put a damn bell on the door or something and learn to value peoples time. Valentine is a great doctor. But idk how the staff is handling these appointments. Expect to wait about an hour and 30 min to actually be seen by the doctor. It's ridiculous the wait period here. The waiting room is hot and small and crowded too. No air running through this place. read more

Initially I spoke with a receptionist that was attempting to help my situation by getting me an appointment sooner. Was placed on hold and immediately after someone else jumped on the line to say "She's new and that date/time is not available" | explained my situation and how I needed a referral and she said that it was such an emergency that I can go to the ER. This facility does not care for their patients. I switch my primary doctor so fast that same day. read more

If I could give him negative stars that exactly what I would . I've been coming here almost all my life because 1st generation kid, my mom has no idea how to change a PCP. I also don't really come to the doctor so when I do I always have to fight the feeling of cussing him out. All he does is talk loud and prescribe off brand medication. He has no idea what he's doing. This doctor sucks he does not examine his pts he only write prescription base on what people tell him. My mom is a pt of his, he has never done a complete examination of her. My nieces were also pts of his once I went to see how he worked my sister removed her 4 kids from him. He might be funny but at times he says things that are un appropriate. My mom is sick, and he's only giving her penicillin. Ayer a Monty of Being sick she went to the hospital where doctors there did X/Ray and other test they told her she has a virus and she needed different medications. This was not my experience. There was a wait but I was seen the same day. Most doctors can't see you for weeks. He was able to figure out what was wrong right away after other doctors could not. This has been the case for two different issues that I had. I have been taking my mom for a long time and now her diabetes is under good control. I don't mind the wait because he helped with my problems. read more

This doctor should not be a doctor, he doesnt check his patients just prescribes pills. I was in one of the waiting rooms and i overheard him talking to another patient about non medical things it was insane while i was waiting for my turn... Very unprofessional.. what upsets me the most is... i barley found out my grandma had pnemonia and all this time i been taking her to him.. and he failed to diagnose it ..all he does is sit in his computer and clicks on his computer and prints your prescription... i did research and stethoscope on my own and went to a different clininc to do xrays and diagnosed it myself. stay away listen to the other people who review this this doctor. read more

Really bad doctor. Don't go here don't take your kids here. I just came out of the doctors office and felt compelled to let everyone know this is not a true doctor that cares for you. Just treats you like a piece of meat . Went in with several of issues that I know I have and wanted to check them out , but this doctor made it seem as if they were nothing . I have been going to Dr. Hernandez for over 18 years. He is a caring community based doctor. He listens, he cares, and he is very helpful. The staff listen and they have been very helpful when I need various paperwork for work and school. Dr. Valentin Hernandez is a Harvard Medical School Graduate...and he could have set his practice up anywhere in the world. He chose to be in a community that needs medical professionals. He is still there giving back to the community. I will continue to bring my family members to his practice for our medical needs. read more
