The Town Center is across from the Midwest City, OK, Welcome Center; Tinker AFB; Tinker Bicentennial Park. It is north of I-240, and north of I-40, off exit 157C. It's north of SE 29th Street, south of SE 15th Street, east of S. Air Depot Blvd, and west of S. Midwest Blvd. Details: The Town Center was opened in 2005 and was completed in 2007. There are about 56 stores, restaurants, and services in a 90 plus acre area. I've listed them out, almost in order of location, starting from the west, off Air Depot Blvd, and going east towards Midwest Blvd. Most of the restaurants are along SE 29th Street, towards the front of the Plaza, so it's easier to see and get to them. The base stores, Lowe's, Best Buy, JCPenney, Target, Marshall's, and Kohl's, are situated to the rear of the Plaza; with the remaining stores, food places, and services in the middle stores. During December, the Plaza Market area is decorated with Christmas decorations and lights, with a huge Christmas tree in the center of the Market. Personal Experience: I've been to 15 of the listed restaurants and stores, and with the exception of a bad dining experience at Chili's; the places I've been to are clean and the staff have been nice and helpful. There are currently several other businesses such as blue haven firearms, dominos pizza, a health supplies store, financial and a few others. There are open spaces as well. It's easy access in and out. The Main Street gets busy when school and work get out but it clears up pretty quickly. There is a large parking area tht has way more spaces than needed. I have shopped here over the years at different spaces and there was a OBI blood institute once upon a time.

I was alarmed at how many under age kids were in the mall unsupervised. These kids were wearing backpacks on a Saturday, which seems suspicious to me in a mall. This last month has been filled with violence from kids in large unsupervised groups and I did not appreciate that the mall, which has high end stores with over the top prices, allows children of all ages to wander around for house, buying nothing. This is the first time I have experienced this. I will not be going back to the mall, especially during the summer.

They do have a cafeteria area that has a couple shops to get food and drinks. I've never eaten there, but I did try the boba before. It was good, but you can't adjust the sweetness on the drinks. I love that they have some neat areas with large heaters that look like flames. We came here and warmed up a couple times while shopping. There are plenty of parking spots scattered around the outlet mall. I like to park behind Columbia store. I feel like no one ever parks there. There are good sales around the holidays, so go check them out.

It It turns out this is a vendor mall/series of booths set up by individual vendors with a wide array of items for sale. First impressions--- I was simply amazed and how CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN this business is. And cool. On a hot day this was an oasis and certainly kept me in the building to browse the different booths longer. I wandered around admiring everything for awhile and ended up with a darling shirt, 2 necklaces and a dress from one booth, a vintage quilt from another ($45!!!!), peanut brittle from another and a frame from yet another booth. The staff was helpful but not pesky and I never felt rushed or "watched". I have not been back to Norman but this place will definitely be on my list to hit the next time I'm in town.

Upon walking inside however you are sucked through a wormhole to the set of living dead and find the mall to be almost completely empty. The employees swarm onto you like zombies due to the fact you're the first customer they have seen in years. The good court is probably the sorriest sight looking at the 10 spaces of which 4 are occupied. There was a Chic-fil-a that used to be a shinning beacon of hope for this place but they have since abandoned ship and created their own building. The only reason one might come to the mall now a days is to see the sadness for yourself or to maybe catch a flick at the worst theater of all time.
