In the colder months, they are setup in the downtown farmer's market. I know you can also visit the farm in Martinsville, I have yet to do so. Why... Why is it getting 5 stars and why will I continue? It is good meat. I have bought Chicken, and Beef from them. And, now that Thanksgiving is past, Turkey from them. My family is trying to buy as much organic, non-processed, "real-food" as possible. We had been buying organic chicken from the grocery. But, one day at the farmer's market, my friend said, "try this meat, it is the best." I bought a package of chicken. I was blown away. The meat was still on the bone, but to cut it off was like cutting butter. It sliced so easily (raw or cooked). And there was no - none - null - fat in it. The chicken from the store always seems to have a bit of gristle in the middle. Not this. And the taste - It was juicy and flavorful. So much better. Next I tried the beef - same thing. All grass fed, all great. The man said, if you like this, you should try our turkey. So, this Thanksgiving, we did. Everyone commented how flavorful the turkey was - and all I did was rub butter, salt and pepper with a little rosemary on it. Easy and the best ever turkey!
