Due to the moves, we had had our son placed in 2 other home daycares, an in-home daycare center, and a La Petite Academy. We considered returning to a commercial daycare, but had found that the care wasn't quite as personal as we'd have preferred for such a small child. Tiffany has run her daycare for over ten years in the Edgewater area...it is very clean, well stocked with toys and activities, and caters to infants and toddlers - a hard to find combination, particularly in Edgewater/Annapolis! We have now been with her going on a year now and have found that she keeps her facility clean and well organized and is extremely caring, flexible, and reliable in her care for Zack. One thing we are most impressed with is Tiffany's combination of intelligence, creativity, and flexibility - Zack recently was diagnosed with having a receptive/expressive language delay and Tiffany is more than willing to either be present at his speech pathology sessions or to watch them via video and keep close contact with his therapist so that she may incorporate the suggestions into her own lesson plans at the daycare. She is a fabulous communicator and makes sure that we are always kept up to speed with how our son is doing during the day. In addition, she is often available to watch him during evenings or weekends if we need the time, for reasonable rates. We are considering a second child and have absolutely no hesitation in continuing to work with Tiffany!

From day one, the teachers at Learning Tree made my somewhat shy child feel safe, loved, and encouraged. My daughter had a speech delay, and the patience, support, and encouragement she received there helped her so so much. They don't just focus on academics or rigid schedules; they teach kindness, social skills, and everyday life lessons that are just as important as ABCs and 123s at this stage. More than anything, the kids are genuinely *LOVED* - and that makes all the difference. As a working parent, I truly could not have had my career without the trust and peace of mind that Learning Tree provided. They are very reasonably priced, and the new (in 2025) owners and management of the building are just as wonderful as the teachers - professional, kind, and supportive. In 2025 they did a ton of renovations with all brand new floors, classroom toys & supplies, and a brand new outdoor playground with a new fence. Payment is simple and stress-free through their online portal, and the app they use makes communication effortless. Getting pictures and videos throughout the day was such a gift...it warmed my heart to see my kids smiling, playing, and learning in real time. They use a key fob system to enter the building and you have to go through multiple check-points, it is very safe. Before finding Learning Tree, we tried other daycare options in Annapolis that felt cold, too strict, and more like a prison for toddlers than a nurturing environment. Learning Tree was the complete opposite - warm, family-oriented, and rooted in decades of experience. The teachers are unmatched, which is why they've been trusted by families for over 30 years. At the end of the day, these are children - they don't need to learn rocket science, they need to feel LOVED, supported and SAFE. Special shoutouts to Miss Yolanda and Miss Dominique, who went above and beyond every single day. Their dedication, warmth, and love are the heart of the Learning Tree community. If you're looking for a daycare that understands what children need, and will genuinely take care of them as if they were their own - then The Learning Tree is it. I cannot recommend them enough!

The teachers greet our daughter by name each morning, and it's clear they truly care about each child as an individual. She's come home each day brimming with stories, songs, and new things she's learned--not to mention the adorable art projects we now have proudly displayed all over the house. Watching her blossom socially and emotionally in such a nurturing space has been so reassuring. She's made real friendships and grown in confidence, and I credit so much of that to the gentle, encouraging environment this preschool provides. We were very anxious about the transition, but after days of interviewing multiple options, we realized the amount of trust that we had already placed in AGP- prior to him even beginning. Two weeks in, our son has truly never been happier or thriving more socially and developmentally. The day he began at AGP he was already saying his teachers name, and within the week he came home speaking 5 new words. He is showered with love and support every day, is introduced and exposed to new learning methods and interactivities, and my husband and I receive consistent daily communication (with pictures) of his day. What began as an unbelievably stressful time in our lives has resulted in the most beautiful partnership with APG, and a 19 month old who is finally in an environment he feels his happiest.
