What I needed was someone who could get it sorted out for me as it was way above my pay grade. That someone was Dr. Breckenridge. He was very thorough in his gathering of information for his intake, right back to when I was young, then he proceeded to do a visual inspection, and asked a few more questions. I could see the wheels were turning as it had given him lots to think about. He knew exactly what to do, like he had done it before. He went to work on me and then after that he showed me some great and easy to do stretches and then sent me to the next phase of the treatment, electrotherapy! Its very effective and not at all painful like it sounds. I don't understand what it does or how it works, but I assure you it is effective. I saw results after my first visit. His intention is to get you fixed and set you up to live pain free just to be a support when you need him. The team at Brentwood Chiropractic are top notch, I would recommend them to anyone!

I was a first time client and when I arrived about 15 min early for my appointment (as I knew there would be paperwork to fill out), the doors were locked. I called the phone number on the door and was informed that the therapist was coming from the southside and would be there shortly. The therapist showed up shortly after and when I spoke to her later, she informed me she only worked out of that location. The first thing I noticed when I was filling out the paperwork in the front reception area is that they had 2 over-sized white chairs. One which had a small cluster of dark hair on it. I was asked if I needed to use the washroom before my massage and was directed to where it was. Inside the washroom was dark hair on the floor, a dried urine spot on the toilet seat and a ring in the toilet basin showing it hadn't been cleaned recently. Despite that, I decided to still go through with the massage. The room I was taken into had a wrinkled top sheet on the massage table like the sheet was left wet to dry in the drier. The therapist started massaging my back first and had to stop approximately 6 times to pick something off my back... my first thought was hair. Now I'm disgusted! Once the massage was done, I dressed, paid the bill and walked out the door. The therapist was nice and the massage was good but the place itself was unclean and unprofessional. If they can't do basic cleaning, is it really sanitary during a pandemic other than being required to wear a mask? I don't think so which is why I won't go back and I don't recommend anyone else to visit BodyTech Clareview either!

And the facial/scalp/neck massage she gives at the end is FANTASTIC, it's my favourite part. And as a side note I've never been a fan of the slow spa mediation sounds that spas typically play, Laina plays instrumental/symphony style music of classical and pop songs. I love it so much more and feel it just adds more to the experience. She also provides little additional things that just make it more of a luxury experience, hot towels, bottled water, aromatherapy, etc. feels like I'm at a fancy resort for an hour. As a patient prior to the pandemic, I was very impressed how often she would reach out to update me on any changes. The clinic doesn't require masks anymore but if you're like me and need to air on the side of caution, masks are used. As someone that's tried a lot of different chiropractors in the Edmonton area, I can honestly say if you can handle the drive (to & more importantly afterwards) this clinic is worth it. Both chiropractors are highly regarded by their patients, but I can only speak specifically with the work Dr. Kisic does for my body. I also can't comment on the current RMTs at this clinic (their rooms are upstairs) besides observing that they have a steady flow of clients that seem happy to return to them too. The current frontend person, Suraksha, keeps things going smoothly & thankfully is willing to help patients find a later time (if available) or happily reschedule within the week if their health is impacting them (from making the drive all the way safely for the original booked time or at all that day). This is something small to most people, but such a huge value to those chronically ill like myself. I greatly appreciate not being extremely stressed out when rearranging an appointment on top of a really bad health day that is already stopping me from getting myself physically to the appointment. Dr. Kisic listens to me as a patient, notes my biggest issues & asks great follow up questions to correspond with her treatment. She is especially great at communicating with someone that's having a harder day or week when getting the right words out is difficult. Be it due to heavy brain fog, going through pain flares &/or struggling full migraine issues - she can interpret it all. I'm always amazed with her memory for details. Even with her quick digital file prompts, it is impressive with the extra level she recalls on her own during the treatment when there's no way possible she could see the patient summary. Most importantly, she doesn't make assumptions on what your body should be doing with her treatments & works well with other practitioners in your health circle too. So take the time to speak with her in the clinic. It is well worth it. I also advise you to be open with the condition of your body or injury so you can get the best treatment for your situation. Include what does or doesn't work well from past practitioners &/or other modalities & who you're currently working with for pain management or quick patch ups. As for the clinic itself, access wise is direct from sidewalk (which is a high step up unless you're at the end of the strip mall for lowered sidewalk access). There isn't an automatic door button (honestly I don't thing any of the businesses have it at the strip mall that I've walked by, not even the newly remodelled spa). The door handle at the clinic is a large size, so easier to pull, & the door entry is good size for access. The clinic provides slippers for patients to use while there (make sure you read the labels so you're grabbing from the clean box). Everything from waiting room, washroom to the treatment rooms is kept tidy & clean. The washroom is very spacious & lots of room to change before appointment (I usually change into tank top & shorts unless it's deep winter). There isn't a baby change table in the washroom but if you have your baby with you, there's a large cabinet in the bathroom that would be wide enough to put a changing pad down. There's free parking available along the strip mall where the clinic is located & throughout the larger parking lot amongst the other businesses. This summer an extra parking spot was added between the clinic & dry cleaner entrance areas (it use to be a permanent parking lot divider). This change provided a much needed lowered sidewalk access point in the midst of the length of the strip mall. I don't think this change has anything to do specific with the clinic (as there's many businesses in the strip mall) but the effort to put the lowered sidewalk isn't being fully utilized. As it's yet to be fully marked so no parking occurs in the handicap sidewalk access. Stalls currently allotted for handicap parking are at the end of strip mall (close to the OJs, Subway, Starbucks, etc. area). There are other parking options further into the general parking lot but parking along the strip mall is safer in winter. Especially if you struggle with any mobility or stability issues. Overall, this is a solid place to try out if you're in need of a new chiropractor or if you're struggling to find a chiropractor that really gets how to work with those in chronic pain &/or chronic migraine issues. I think it's a good sign when patients for both practitioners seem to be always happy with their adjustments & ongoing care.

After coming to him for quite a while the pain went away completely. After my first session it was significantly reduced. I continue to come see him for my chiropractic needs and it's helped a lot. The receptionists are friendly and kind. It's a nice clean environment. This location is also very convenient for me it's very close to where I live so making an appointment is easy for me. Still after over a year my knees have not hurt after he helped get rid of my issue. I also love that he gives me effective stretches and movements to lessen my injury from coming back. He is a friendly and knowledgeable chiropractor another reason I continue to come here.

She constantly checked if her pressure was okay on my injured back, and told me about the Eastern philosophies regarding the way your spine moves. I have an allergy to mint oil, which is their usual, so she made sure the room was free if it and used pure olive oil for me. Dongxia is amazing at what she does.

Beth is a really understanding and knowledgeable practitioner. After our first chat I totally felt she understood what I was looking for and could help me get results. The treatment rooms have very calming decor and are perfect temperature, the complete spa atmosphere, but every so often you can hear someone slamming down weights in the gym next door. This kind of hampers the whole calm zen feeling. The last time I went I noticed someone in a wheelchair seemed to have issues navigating because the corridors are narrow around the reception area and there's not really seating for someone who's a little less mobile at the entrance of the clinic. These are the only reasons I haven't given City Centre Wellness five stars. I will continue to visit this clinic because the service is fantastic, they do online booking (which I love) and it's a convenient location for anyone who works downtown. There are appointments available at lunch hour and outside of normal working hours.

I've been going to city center wellness for about a year now and I am throughly satisfied with the service I receive there. First off they have a super convenient online booking system which I love. You can see when your therapist is available and match up an appointment time to your calendar without having to call. They will also send you reminders on the day of your appointment via email, and follow-up reminders when it is time for your next appointment to be booked which is super handy. They also have 3rd party billing which is exrtremly handy for those whose benefits cover massage therapy. They have different therapists who specialize in different areas of massage so they cater to pretty much every need. I personally see Meghan, who is great. She will tell me what parts of my body are tight and what I need to work on and give me tips of things I can do at home to loosen those muscles up. She really knows her stuff. There have also been a few times I have called the studio the day of - you know how it is when you wake up with something wrong and you could use the massage that day - and Meghan has always done her best to fit me in when those problem days occur. (Active Release Techniques), physiotherapy, massage therapy to name a few. River Valley Health focuses on sports related prevention and injury treatment, repetitive strain disorders and joint and soft tissue injuries. The staff and doctors are always friendly and professional and get to the nitty-gritty of what ails you. A.R.T. hurts like an expletive, but is worth the pain for the outcomes. Come in, get fixed, get and stay active!

But when I do find the time and book an appointment here I'm never disappointed. Finally I found a place that takes good care of me, provides great service and where I'm never disappointed. Most massage places I've visited in the past are not nearly good enough at providing more than light massage, but here I can receive good reliable treatment.
