Heritage Fresh Market is an actual working farm in Supply, NC. They carry fresh produce, breads, jelly's and jams, homemade desserts, ice cream, and many other products. I went there for the strawberries. I bought a heaping quart for $6.75. The berries were both huge and delicious! Also bought a gallon sized cherry tomato plant with blooms and even a number of tomatoes already on the vine. They're very friendly and can help with suggestions. Really cute indoor farmers market. They even have home made ice cream which we didn't try but will try next time. They have other items besides fresh produce. Everything is clean and well organized. We got plums ,apples ,oranges ,peaches ,honey ,cut up cantaloupe and tomatoes and cucumbers. Everything was fresh and delicious. Friendly staff and good service. Literally the sweetest and freshest strawberries I've ever eaten! They are huge and so yummy! Strawberry season is my favorite season! Awesome country market with many goodies. Stopped for some watermelon and squash as the produce was so fresh and delicious. They carry a good assortment of local products too. We tried the gluten free banana bread and this was rich, not too sweet and dense. They also serve ice cream. I heard that it was the best in the area and one of the folks in my group sampled the banana flavor. They were very pleased. This is a super cute store and the set up is inviting with plenty of room to browse. The location is convenient and easy to get to. While the staff is friendly and there is a number of local selections, don't believe that all of it is local. I don't mind paying for local, fresh goods. I was disappointed when I realized I paid for local tomatoes and it was the same as what you get in a grocery store. I have trust issues concerning the produce now. Please do better. At least be honest and price accordingly if things aren't local. We don't have a lot of choices around here when it comes to farm fresh but do not assume we do not know what farm fresh is. Being misleading doesn't work if you want customers to return. read more

Price and a public restroom! We have been a regular customer over the years and didn't mind paying the "beach tax" in exchange for a little convenience. Stopped in today and filled the basket but had to use the restroom. Found out they don't have one or at least not for customers! I can find veggies all over the place and hopefully from someone that cares about their customers because Heritage does not. read more

Heritage Fresh Market has earned its fifth star based on the amazing quality of their produce, by far the best I've had in all of Brunswick County. The peaches we bought last week were beautiful to look at, and even better to eat. Ditto the cantaloupe, and the okra, and the tomatoes, and well, pretty much everything they offer. It appears the market may be moving to a new location on Sellers Road in October. Stay tuned and support local farmers! read more

It's that time of year that our family craves fresh produce from nearby farms. This is our second summer season visiting Heritage Fresh Market. They offer a great selection of locally harvested vegetables, bakery items, plants and fresh cut flowers. Everyone that works there is very nice as well. An inside secret when you visit. Always clean. Love their social media posts to inform of what they have for the day. They added ice cream this year and it doesn't disappoint. Banana Cream Pie, Peach, Key Lime but my favorite is the Ginger snap. Delicious. Picked up fresh-cut collards that were beautiful. Grabbed a late season tomato and some zucchini. Also grabbed a lasagna to try in the ready to go freezer along with some gumbo soup. A great speciality farm stand that is friendly and has fresh food. read more

All that has been written is true. Good quality food, a little pricey. After spending over $100 dollars in products, I desperately needed to use a bathroom. I'm almost 70, my fellow geriatrics can attest to the need when you need a bathroom you really need one. An employee told me they did not have one that I would have to use the port-a-john outside. She said all the employees have to use it, that they didn't have an indoor bathroom. I really didn't have a choice other than have a mishap on their floor. It was DISGUSTING and FILTHY. When I went back into the store my first question was "where do you wash your hands?", I was told hand sanitize is available. The owner at that time asked if I found everything I needed, I said yes except for a bathroom. She said they had one but it was for employees only. I told her that she and her employees should have their stories straight. She said they had a lot of problems with customers leaving a mess in the bathroom. I hope that the owners mother is never told to go use a port-a-john when she might have an emergency. I guess the act of kindness, civility, and common sense is dead. I will never shop nor recommend this store to anyone. I would never deny someone the use of a bathroom ever. read more
