Now, the worst part for me whenever I get work done is the shots to numb my mouth; I hate them. But I have to say he was the most gentle dentist I've been to. (Am I saying that right? Not sure if "dentist" is his title.) I'm saying I could be ok with going back to him to do work based on that alone. Next, the work he did is beautiful. I can't even tell the difference between my real teeth and his work. And no one else will either! Hurray! Thank you guys for fitting me in today and doing such a great job. Come time for my appointment dr Spencer decided to try and pull out my crown with his fingers without saying anything first then appeared surprised and unhappy that that action startled and scared me, he continued to explain to us that he didn't have time and we needed to schedule another appointment. We scheduled that appointment as a consultation and had been there for maybe 10 minutes at most. I asked for him to look at my teeth instead of repeatedly explaining trust because the time it took him to talk would be enough to glance at my teeth which is all I was asking. When he would not look at my teeth in the appointment scheduled for him to look at and do a consult for my teeth We decided to leave and not return as he made it clear verballyand in actions he couldn't or would not help. This appointment caused further trauma and was extremely unprofessional. However his dental assistant was lovely and kind I wish her the best in her career.

With Wisconsin being my home, a random dentist office in northeast Montana wouldnt usually be my first choice. After the interaction I had though- I certainly would make it first. After calling numerous dental offices to inquire about a tooth extraction, this office was the first to help that offered Care Credit. Not being totally sure where I was going to be, but hopeful on location, I ended up scheduling an appointment here. They were ON IT with trying to get me in ASAP, aiming to get the situation dealt with same day, same time (meaning new patient visit, x-ray and extraction). The woman who helped me was SO KIND and SO COMPASSIONATE. I wish I remembered her name. This place is as solid as can be in the type of world we live in today. While I ended up not actually making it to the appointment due to several, spontaneous factors, this place far supersedes dental offices even close to my area. This place definitely deserves the glowing reviews. If I ever am in the area and need emergency dental work, this will be the place I go. You guys made a poopy situation easy to deal with. I left that initial appointment heartbroken and overwhelmed. I made it clear, again and again, to the front office staff that I'm a single father responsible for all of my daughters' medical, dental, and insurance needs on my own. I max out my workplace flex spending account every year, and nearly 100% of it goes toward my daughters' care--including ongoing payments for my daughter's braces. I told them there was no way I could take on thousands of dollars in additional dental expenses for myself. Despite that, they kept pushing paperwork at me--totaling over $14,000 in treatment plans--until I finally walked out of the office in tears. Months later, I returned for a scheduled basic teeth cleaning, only to be told I still had to sign the same financial forms for over $14,000 in out-of-pocket treatments before they would even begin the cleaning. I wasn't there for surgery. I wasn't there for an expensive procedure. I just wanted a cleaning. But once again, I was made to feel pressured, humiliated, and deeply uncomfortable. The thought of losing my smile because I can't afford treatment is deeply depressing. And the anxiety and fear this office caused--by dismissing my concerns and pushing expensive plans regardless of my financial reality--only made it worse. If you're looking for a provider who listens, respects your situation, and offers care without shame or pressure, I suggest looking elsewhere.
