We didn't realize that it was Canadian Thanksgiving that day until almost everythang was closed, so extra credit for even being open. Can't remember the gal's name but she was about the sweetest, cutest, most helpful server ever. Even though the menu is fairly limited on the veg options, she went out of her way to make some adjustments to various dishes to suit our needs, and quite cheerfully, at that. Absolutely delicious brews and clean, comfortable environment! Definitely worth a stop and even a little drive from Yarmouth to hit it up if you like beer and friendly folks.

Baguette was crunchy crisp outside and soft inside, perfect for the butter to soak in. I got a bowl of chowder and a Lobster Ceaser for dinner, also ordered at the table were sautéed shrimp and fries, and the lobster dinner. Chowder is thin instead of creamy, and fairly bland. However, after adding a bunch of salt, some Tabasco, and a little pepper, I drank every last drop. The sautéed shrimp were great, as well as the fries, and the lobster came out full of meat for the price. Meal: 4 Our waiter Cliff was fantastic. Very polite and accommodating, service was quick and responsive, and he noticed our table had a wobble so he got a shim to fix it. Service: 5 The men's room had a strong odor of old urine and could use some TLC. She got our water and order in fairly quickly but otherwise provided minimal service. Ordered a lobster Mac and a hot lobster roll. Both were mediocre to terrible. The lobster did not seem fresh on either dish. The cheese was bland on the mac and the roll and was served with a hot dog bun (?!) and some cream based sauce on the whole plate which made everything soggy. Live music was nice. Beers were also mediocre. Would not return though the price was economical when converted to USD

This was something we were very excited about as well, since it was our first trip to NS and we wanted to drink it all in - literally and figuratively! Their partners are equally as great. We started our tour at Heritage, who had just moved into a larger facility to accommodate their rapidly expanding business. Then, it was off to Tusket Falls, where we had a full tour of the brewery and got a quick lesson on how the beers are made. We wrapped up our evening with a spectacular dinner (more beer for my husband, but wine for me) at Rudders. It was a fantastic evening and the perfect way to top off our trip.
