So I left my primary care doctor's office because I felt like a number. It just wasn't the same…read moreanymore and I heard from a co-worker that they switched to Advent Health Primary Care+. I decided to take the leap of faith and make an appointment. I am glad that I did. I live in Apopka and this office is less than 10 minutes away from me, so its location was important, They have late hours until 8pm on weekdays and are open on the weekend. If you are familiar with the Advent Health system, all of your medical information is accessible through their website or their app you can download on your phone. I love that if I get bloodwork done at one of their locations, it's almost immediately available in their portal. I can access my past appointments and if I have ever gone to a Centra Care or the Advent ER, all of that is available. So far it's been great. Even if I don't always see the same doctor, all of the notes are in the system. Every time I have had an appointment, the doctor or the assistant has been very caring, helpful and informative.

Finally changed from Hunt Club Medical, Dr Toochinda (after MANY yrs!) to the Advent Health primary…read moreCare in Apopka. Hunt club medical had become too busy most of the time; they also took walk ins tho took people w/ appts first. It was hard to get in to see the Dr,although the PA's were excellent. Decided to keep everything w/ Advent Health and was very happy the two times I've been there. Easier to get in & nicer, quieter atmosphere.

Great doctor...once you get in to see him. Scheduling, communication and office support have made…read moreit an ordeal to work with the Hunt Club Clinic. Over an hour wait each time I had an appointment. One time I called on a Thursday late afternoon and was told they had an opening the next day at 1 PM (due to a cancellation). When I got there Friday at 1 PM, I was told that my appointment was yesterday, 1 PM on Thursday. I said that I didn't call for the appointment until a couple of hours after that. So after realizing their mistake, they would "fit me in." An hour and 45 minutes later they called my name to weigh me and take my blood pressure. Then there is communication. I called my pharmacy for a prescription refill on a Monday. They said they would fax the doctor a refill request for me and they would let me know when it was ready. I called back Tuesday and they said they hadn't heard back from the Doctor. I was running out by Friday and remembered that I hadn't got a call back. The Pharmacy said they still had not heard back from repeated faxes. So I called Dr. Gordon's office. They told me that only patients calling can get refills and that when they get faxes from pharmacies they just delete them without responding. I asked, "how was I supposed to know that, and why didn't you let the pharmacy know of your policy?" No answer, just "which prescription do you need filled?" I called the pharmacy back to let them know what I'd found and they said they had never heard of such a thing or policy. Then the office support. I had stomach upset so the doctor wanted tests run...blood, urine and stool samples. I took the vials home for the stool sample and returned them the next day (have you ever done a stool sample? I'd rather fill another dozen vials with blood). Well, when I came for my next appointment on a Friday the doctor told me that they had lost one of the four stool sample vials and I would need to do it again. I took it home and brought it back during their office hours on Saturday only to be told "oh, we don't accept any lab samples on the weekend." I asked how I was supposed to know that. I was given another vial to take home and I endured the process a third time and made a third trip across town to deliver it to them (gas prices made that last vial a little more expensive). Again, Dr. Gordon is great, but they are far too busy to give good service. I suspect the "walk-ins welcome" is part of the mix. My tests all came back negative and I'm felling better. My job is taking me out-of-state so I won't have to deal with the clinic again.

This is by far the laziest Dr office in America. The nurses in the back are so rude,…read moreunprofessional, lazy and make the Drs look very bad. Shame on you Dr Gordon and all the staff for the way you treat your patients. I left this place crying, literally. I'm so sincere. Run far away from this Drs office. I've never felt so betrayed and violated by a Dr office, they do not care about you. They just want your money.
