With 20 min Gerald Sears with sears towing arrived, had my Chevy Colorado unlocked in 5 min. Durring my 20 min short wait I was updated 2x with ETA. Gerald was friendly, and efficent. While we appreciate the technicians attempting to check our air leak, the inspection did not feel…read morevery thorough. The shop quickly concluded they could not find the leak, even though there was clearly a significant air leak still present. The receptionist who answers the phone was excellent and very professional, and we want to acknowledge that. However, we were intitially overcharged and had to ask for the corrections to the bill. A road call fee was added even though we brought the truck directly to their shop. When we questioned the charges for what ended up being no actual repair, the main concern seemed to be getting the bill paid rather than addressing the issue with the diagnosis. We understand that diagnosing truck problems takes time and we are always willing to pay for legitimate service. Unfortunately, in this case the inspection felt rushed and the problem was not resolved. We are not leaving this review to unfairly criticize the business, but simply to share our experience so other drivers know what to expect if they need repairs in the Somerset, KY area. Hopefully the shop can improve their diagnostic process and customer communication going forward.
