I don't follow keto eating practices at all, but I do like a good cup of bulletproof coffee, because when it's made right, it's smooth and butterscotchy and delightful. The bulletproof coffee at The Veggie Wagon was all of those adjectives! There's a little produce stand outside of the store, which is quite cute and quaint. When you go inside, you'll see even more locally grown produce items. We were around for tomato and berry season, so that's what was available. There is also going to be a wine bottle shop inside called Bottles that will open soon. Homegrown sells local products and focuses on sustainability. There wasn't too much variety of produce when I was there. The produce prices are at least twice as much as grocery store prices but they are higher quality/locally grown. There are also "bulk" organic dried herbs and spices, flours, rice, beans and grains, including chickpea flour, sprouted whole grain flour, cacao powder, chia seeds, pink Himalayan salt, baking soda, arrowroot. These are not bulk bins, more of around 32 oz glass sized containers. I imagine if you only need a tablespoon or so of the spice or a cup of beans, this would work out for you. You can bring your own container or they have a glass containers available. Other products are local Taste the Olive olive oil, elderberry syrup, vanilla extract, honey, Kind Cultures, eggs, meats, sweets. For skincare there is bulk deodorant, tooth powder, and tea. Reverse osmosis water is available for $0.40 per gallon or free for single serving refills. This would be good market for those that live close by looking for organic, local, and sustainable products.
