What an absolute and complete JOKE this visit was store franchisee Jason Kruse, should definitely…read morepay closer attention to this store the customer service was, shall I say, less than acceptable the female who took care of my meals had no idea about customer service or the difference between good lettuce and bad lettuce she literally raised the pan to check the time and date and told me that it was okay that they had to use it regardless of how it looked in the pan frozen brown somewhat slimy totally disgusting not to mention the amount of food I received for $23 was less than desirable however I had already paid for it. The food preparation counter was dirty seemingly from the last order but yet the employee that came out to service my request was probably back in the office on her phone instead of cleaning and tidying up the restaurant as she should have been two tables were dirty with bread crumbs and a few lettuce droppings probably from previous customers realizing that the lettuce was of terrible grade. The employee seemed less excited about providing great customer service and more excited about just riding the clock and gathering a paycheck as there was no flexibility for customer service. WHAT A SORRY EXCUSE FOR A SUBWAY RESTAURANT. I and or anybody I know or come in contact with will not be returning to this Subway in Thayer Missouri. If I hadn't been in such a hurry to run for the hills and get out of that store I would have taken pictures to prove my review unfortunately, sorry yelpers, I won't have a return visit to this store together pictures. This is precisely what happens when you hire just out of high schoolers that know nothing of the world and nothing about customer service and or food preparation, service to run your restaurants. It only gets one star because I have to put one star if I could post negative Stars it would definitely receive -3. This place was a perfect example of teenagers nowadays expecting to be paid for their presents and not for the service they are providing.

What I got after I was asked to pull up behind the other 2 cars already waiting, sat for 10 minutes, got fed up and pulled around to the main entrance, and walked into the restaurant was a cold Classic Chicken Strip Sandwich with rock hard chicken strips, and a few scraps of lettuce! The reason I was given was "we only have one person on the grille today", as I can plainly see 4 people who are milling around the kitchen/drive-through area! The only solace was after returning to the restaurant and going full Karen (I feel dirty now, and shame in them for them making me do this), was a manager who took care and made me a new sandwich, and gave me a coupon for a free sundae...
