A few little yard arts, chairs, and plants...very welcoming! The B&B is on the left and the tap room is on the right, the garage, where the covered patio is. Co-owner Brenda was behind the bar. They had a good tap list, not overwhelming but enough to quench any palate. There was also a good list of guest taps, all Inbound. When Brenda mentioned she could pour me an "air" I responded... oh Lucid Air! That's one I hadn't heard in a minute! The tap room is very cozy and w Brenda also being a travel agent there is travel destination suggestions on the tap list. Mid visit the Brewer/co-owner, Ford came behind the bar. There was a decent selection of vinyl....not sure if they have a record player or it's just fun "decoration"? My friend gave me the explanation of the names on the shelving behind her. Again....fer cute!! I won't divulge it, go on & ask for yourself, I think it'd be funner hearing it in person from an owner! One friend opted for an Inbound beer. After having Brenda pour me a taste of Chubby Chipmonk Pale Wheat, which was good but better than a standard wheat beer since it's a Pale Wheat, so if you're looking for a muted beer, this isn't it, so go on and taste it. I asked my other friend f I could have a sip of his Bicycle Brown? There it is....that's what my palate is looking for! I opted for a pint of Bicycle Brown Ale... it hit the mark....as I still had a couple hour drive in front of me to the cities. Thanks Hoppy Girl for the delicious beer in such a comfortable & welcoming environment served up by a couple of pretty wonderful owners, cheers!

It was about a 35-minute drive from where we were staying, and it was absolutely worth it. When we arrived, the parking lot was quite full, so we assumed we'd be waiting forever. That wasn't the case at all. We placed our order pretty quickly. The pizzas took about 45 minutes, but no one minded because there was plenty to do while we waited. The weather was beautiful, and we found a spot outside. A folksy musician was playing live music, people were enjoying the evening, and kids were running around everywhere - but in a good way. It's just that kind of place. Our grandkids loved feeding the goats and exploring, and there's also a nice little gift shop to visit. To make the evening even more memorable, someone had arrived in a small helicopter and later took off while we were there. Our group was large - 20 people altogether, including 14 adults and six grandchildren under four. We ordered five pizzas, which turned out to be just about the perfect amount. We ordered the Thai, the Supreme, and the Margherita. Additionally, we chose to build our own pepperoni and mushroom, and a plain pepperoni - appealing to the younger crowd. The pizzas were large, thin-crust, cut into squares, and absolutely delicious. Every one was a hit - not a single pizza disappointed. The whole experience was simply fun. The staff behind the registers and everyone else we interacted with were friendly. The old barn and other buildings are unique, and the farm setting and surrounding countryside are beautiful. I'm so glad we decided to make the drive. This isn't just a place to grab a pizza - it's a place to spend an evening and enjoy yourself. I'd go back, and go back, and go back. If you're anywhere near the area, The Stone Barn is must visit.

FINALLY made it here for their Tuesday pizza night after years of not making it due to scheduling…read more It was every bit as good as advertised. We lucked out a bit with the weather as it was supposed to rain, but cleared up in time and we arrived right as they opened at 4:30 and parked close. We were order #6 so we got our pizza really quickly. Of course the emphasis is on fresh, local ingredients and you can really taste the difference between here and a generic pizza place. The pizzas are on the spend side, but how often am I going to be in Stockholm? We knew it was $28 going in and gladly handed it over. Ordered a half Italian Sausage, half Canadian Bacon. Lots of cheese, onions, basil, etc. and some fantastic olives. Took two bites and thought "this is so f'n good". Quality ingredients and a crust with the right amount of char on it and we were happy. While waiting the roughly 7 or 8 minutes for it to cook, we took the opportunity to drag in our chairs and cooler (used as a table for the box) in a shaded area and stayed a little over an hour. They aren't allowed to let people bring in their own alcohol, but do sell some on premises if you are so motivated. They also sell bread that is baked on site from grain they mill themselves. Its in a great slightly isolated location off a dirt road and if not the gnats that decided to appear we would have been there longer. They were also doing a brisk take out business, but they were starting to get busy with people bringing in tables and such so I assume it was really hopping later in the evening. Either way, its a beautiful property and they have their process down so it flows pretty efficiently. Yeah I know we lucked out so we didn't have to suffer a long wait, but I'd hang out a while for this again. I guess I'd recommend getting there as close to opening time as possible. Will definitely be back.

Also known as "The Pizza Farm" to many people. If you haven't been, go. You won't regret the drive…read more It's about an hour and half from the cities and if you take WI 35 down there it's a gorgeous one. Here's what you should do: Take a half a day (or an entire day) and drive down to the cute, little artsy town of Stockholm, WI. Peruse the galleries and shops. Purchase a bottle or two of Wisconsin made wine or beer from one of said shops. Then stop by the Stockholm Pie Company and pick up a slice (or a pie) to bring along to the farm as dessert. Head over to the farm with your booze and pie in hand. The earlier in the evening the better because it starts to get crowded around 4:45pm. They only give you the pizza and the box it's in. You bring the rest...the plates, napkins, blanket, chairs, tables, cards, guitar, etc. Seriously, some people nearly camp out and are professionals at eating there. Everything that is on the pizzas is from the farm (it's a working farm) from the wheat that is ground that day for the crust to the meat made from the cute but oh, so very tasty animals. You might have to wait a while for your pie but relax, enjoy yourself. This isn't a meal to be rushed. It's as much about the experience as it is about the food. And remember it's only open on Tuesdays and is cash only.

This place is perfect. We dropped by in the afternoon and had a few drinks and a variety of appetizers outside on the patio. We met one of the owners and had a very nice conversation. We liked this place so much we returned for dinner. The flatbread pizza is beyond excellent. Tasty toppings and a really good crispy crust. Just the way I like it. The other members of my group also enjoyed their dinners. I concluded this from their comments - I was too focused on mine to ask them about it. Great food tends to make me behave this way. We met another owner and she was so friendly, must run in the family. I can't wait to get back to Wabasha and visit this place again. read more
