Prices are competitive, other than the food/drink section, which I always find to be rather expensive at Boots compared to rival chains, as they rarely seem to have any offers in that section, combined with higher prices before promotional offers even come into play too. The selection is reasonable, the staff were friendly enough and this is a good Boots location overall that I would return to on future visits to York. 4*

We went to this Boots Pharmacy today ("pharmacy" being a huge understatement, as the store is large and it's very much like an American chain store) and bought the item we needed. The man who rang up our purchase (in the pharmacy section) was SUPER-friendly and we had a delightful conversation with him. Also; the store is well laid-out & very clean, and the selection looked very good.

The store is always very clean and tidy and the staff are helpful and friendly. The prices are about average; you can find some of the products cheaper elsewhere so it might be worth shopping around. The queues are never very long so if you want to buy the 'Meal Deal' during your lunch break then you'll have time.

Upstairs it has all the normal things such as hair and body products, a pharmacy and prescription service a huge make up section with all the major brands there and some of the more expensive ones too. It also has a couple of the all important Boots Advantage card machines. Down an escalator is a huge down stairs with all the baby products and photography related things including developing your photos service. All in all its a good shop and nicely laid out however I have received rude service quite a lot in here, even from managers. The only drawback.

The store appeared to be fairly presentable, it appears to have had a slight refurb to fit into the refurbished part of Leeds Station very well. Prices were a little high on the to-go food and drink, selection and pricing is better at other outlets inside the station including WHSmith and Sainsbury's. The staff seemed friendly enough. 4* - The store is good, mainly for convenience and the midnight pharmacy.

The staff are always friendly and happy to help and offer great advice; such as which cough medicines are sugar free when buying for a diabetic. It is a great community chemist and the shop makes a great effort to get top know its regular customers. There is a home delivery service available for those who require it. (8:30 am to 5:30 pm) The store is fairly clean and well laid out, I was able to get in and out of the store within a couple of minutes, due to the friendly and fast service at the checkout, I did only look to purchase a drink from their fridges (again compact but good selection), and was able to do this. Again, the store is reasonably stocked, but there are limitations due to the size of the size, so you may want to use the click-and-collect feature from Superdrug's website, where you can order items into the store, on most occasions the time frame is reasonable, but not always quicker than home delivery. 4*

There are only 2 or 3 tills, which are not always all manned, and so there may be a queue, but I have always found these to be short and fast moving. The staff seem friendly, and willing to help locate a particular item. All in all, a small shop that's fitted a lot in without the usual cluttered feeling.
