Most vets will take 5-10 mins in the exam room with you and that's it. Dr. Cassidy will take her time and make sure you feel heard and understood. Our most recent visit, Chase wasn't feeling well so I took him here and she told me to go immediately to the ER. Not only did she not charge me for that walk in visit, but she even followed up with me to check in on him. I've had Chase for 6 years so you know we've had a few incidents before and been to quite a few veterinarians prior. None of them can even compare to her. I'm so grateful to have found this vet. I highly recommend her and the entire staff. Your furbaby will be in great hands here with their expertise and compassionate team. Thank you so much for all your help, team Encanto!

From the moment I walked in, everyone was so kind and welcoming. They really took the time to explain everything to me, which I appreciated so much because I had a lot of questions. The vet herself was extremely friendly, helpful, and sweet. She made me feel safe and reassured that my cat was going to be okay, which meant everything in that moment. Overall, the service was great. Pricing felt pretty moderate compared to other animal hospitals. I actually have another vet, and I'm pretty sure it would have been a bit more expensive there. I'm really grateful for the care they gave my cat and the way they treated me during a stressful situation. I would definitely come back.

He wasn't eating, was sleeping excessively, had severe dental pain, and even started having bloody diarrhea. As any pet parent can imagine, I was terrified. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Park and the entire staff treated Rufus with compassion, urgency, and genuine care. They took the time to thoroughly examine him, explain everything clearly, and answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed or pressured. What impressed me most was their honesty and integrity. They focused on what Rufus actually needed rather than recommending unnecessary tests or treatments. After speaking with other hospitals, I truly believe the cost elsewhere could have easily been several times higher. Bewell provided exceptional care at a fair price, which is rare to find these days. Most importantly, they treated Rufus like he was their own pet. That level of kindness and compassion meant the world to me during such a stressful time. To Dr. Park and the entire team: thank you for taking such amazing care of my baby. You turned one of the scariest days into one filled with hope and reassurance. If you're looking for a veterinarian who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, compassionate, and truly puts animals first, I cannot recommend Bewell Animal Hospital highly enough.

My senior dog Paco is chronically ill from pancreatitis to bronchitis to heart problems. And every time he has a flare up, Dr. Seho already knows the drill and has seen us so many times we essentially have a set treatment plan where he doesnt force any unnecessary testing. He never pressures you and is always patient and listening. All the nurses are also do exceptional, patient, kind, and loving. The clinic is always clean as well. My friend also had a cat who had an anal gland explode from severe stress. She brought it to her ontario vet and they kept mistreating the cat/misdiagnosing the cat for 3 months. Finally they made it a point to drive from Chino Hills to Los Angeles and they were beaming about Dr. Sehos bedside manners and the same treatment they got in Ontario done at Bewell was done so much better. Mimi is now finally on the rode to recovery as well! Ive lived in SFV and NYC majority of my life. Ive had so many vet appointments with different vets because of my senior dogs health history. And I ll have to say hes by far the best vet Ive ever had in the 12 years Ive experienced vets

Bringing a newly adopted dog home from a shelter is supposed to be an exciting experience. What I…read moredidn't expect was learning that Rigly Blue had significant medical issues that weren't apparent when I adopted him. Those first couple of months were filled with multiple veterinary visits, questions, and a lot of worry. From the very first appointment, the entire team at Vet Villa made us feel like we mattered. They didn't treat Rigly as just another new patient coming in for a routine meet-and-greet. They took the time to understand his history as a stray, the challenges he was facing, and the care he truly needed. Over the past two and a half months, Rigly has spent a great deal of time in their care, and every visit has been met with genuine kindness, compassion, patience, and professionalism. It's clear that this isn't just a veterinary hospital--it's a team of people who truly love the animals they care for and are deeply invested in the well-being of pets in our community. I am incredibly grateful for everything they've done for Rigly Blue and for giving both of us the support we needed during a very unexpected start to our journey together. Thank you for treating him as if he were one of your own. ~N

They even sent us home with three toothbrushes, which was such a thoughtful touch! Reposting -I agree with many of the reviews here. Long post, but the ending is worth it…read more The pricing at this clinic is outrageous. The staff appear professional, but the entire experience felt like a slow, calculated attempt to upsell me on every possible test--most of which had nothing to do with the reason I came in. My regular vet referred me here because it was close to home, and my cat needed a partial ear amputation due to skin cancer. All I wanted was a quote. Instead, the doctor refused to give any estimate until I completed a list of "recommended" diagnostics. Stage 1: Bloodwork -- nearly $700. Then suddenly my cat "had a heart murmur," and I was told anesthesia could kill him unless I pursued more testing. Stage 2: Full-body X‑rays + EKG -- another $600. Results came back normal. Great. But then came the next push: a heart ultrasound, because "X‑rays can't show everything." At this point, I had to ask myself: Do I even have a real choice? If the ultrasound confirmed a murmur, I'd be stuck in a no‑win situation: risk anesthesia or let the cancer spread. It felt like a manufactured dilemma designed to pressure me into more procedures. The doctor even guilt‑tripped me with, "If it were my pet, I'd do the ultrasound." That was the moment I realized how manipulative this was becoming. By now I'd spent over $1,300, and the ultrasound alone was quoted at $450-$600. Finally, after all of this, I got the surgery estimate: $2,200-$2,700 for a small ear amputation (see pictures) The breakdown was absurd--nickel‑and‑diming for every tiny item imaginable. Friends urged me to get a second opinion. So I went to an animal hospital on Figueroa. That doctor listened to my cat's heart twice and confidently said there was no murmur at all. He immediately offered to perform the surgery and gave me the price on the spot. $500. Total. Including overnight stay, biopsy, and medication. I was stunned. And furious. After being told my cat had a heart murmur, after being pushed into unnecessary tests ($1,700), after being quoted thousands ($3,000 plus) for a basic procedure... another vet told me the exact opposite and charged a fraction of the price. Mind you this was the price 7 years ago. I walked away feeling completely misled. Fellow Yelpers, be forewarned: don't let friendly interactions fool you.
