Henry's was an interesting spot we had been looking forward to visiting prior to arrival in Launceston. Upon entry it appeared to be a well appointed bar with a brilliant selection (decent whiskey selection) and hints at a little history. The bar staff were enthusiastic and helped guide us through our selection. There was no rushing as we read some labels and made considered choices. The whiskey was served in beautiful crystal glasses which was surprising for 2018. Then the second surprise came when we took our glasses through a door in the corner to find a comfy leather appointed lounge and a record player playing A Clockwork Orange. I could have stayed a lot longer to enjoy all the whiskeys and rye but alas I had to move along and work the next day. I will be back! It's a funny kind of place really - but I'm ok with that. read more
