I'm not sure the name of the pro that came out, but he was very nice and let me know he saw a cut cord on top of the tank after digging. It was an older phone cord and definitely nothing he did; just leftover from a previous owner, but I appreciated him telling me. Tank was pumped in a very reasonable amount of time and I also appreciate him letting me know to let the ground get packed back over the lid before driving over with a lawn mower. I was quoted $275.00 for a septic to be pumped. After the…read moresystem was pumped I was told that it would be $350.00 I reluctantly paid him. I didn't want to argue with the individual and I told my wife and Son that I will just contact the company. I phoned the company and I was told by the receptionist that he told her I gave him a $75.00 tip. Driver phoned me and said he never told her that I gave him a tip. I have been trying to resolve this in a nice manner but then he called me and said that he never told the receptionist that I gave him a tip. I phoned her back and she said that she has it in her notes and that they gave him the $75.00 I spoke with the Owner and he began interrogating me as to why I paid him the $350.00. Then he said that he repaired an outlet to the septic pump. That is completely false. Not only that he is not a licensed electrician anyway. I did have a licensed electrician replace the outlet to repair the pump. So in short they lied to me and also stole my money. As of this writing they still have not offered to refund my money. I do have to say this: The receptionist was as professional, honest and pleasant as I could have ever expected.

Now, just 4 months later, septic backs up again, called another contractor who showed me they had not pumped it out right the first time so I call PVI back to come finish the job. After pumping it out this time, they charged me another $150 and told me if I didn't pay, they would pump it all back in ! Do not use this ripoff company.
