I retained CZ on Sept 4,2026 and then horowithz was suppose to represent me in a wrongful repossession matter and when I received an additional retainer on septemver 24,2026 which was 15 pages long, due to my disability I used the assistance of Ai to help me understand the 15 page document and generate a few questions to ask, I get a call from CZ telling me that they are no longer going to represent me and also spoke for Horowitz and said that Horowitz was also not going to represent me. I come to find out that the 15 page retainer gave both law firms and one other 99% of any awards or monies I would get from the outcome of my case and I would get only 1%. i was puzzled, shocked, and confused because in that 15 page retainer it also stated that "Client (me) would have to consent to Horowitz Law firms using Ai to assist the law firm in my case. How funny is that? They can use Ai but I'm not allowed to and the minute I did use Ai to Assist me I was told that the firms do not work with or represent clients that use Ai. That's discrimination, and against ADA laws I believe But, I ended up filing a state bar complaint and at the same time found out that Paul Zuckerman of Carpenter and Zuckerman already had state bar complaints filed against them prior to mine. So, no I would not recommend either law firm.

I found them while searching for local accident attorneys, and they appeared under a different name, which is misleading in itself. Only after I started working with them did I realize they are not local and are actually based out of Los Angeles. It has now been nearly three years since my accident, and this firm has done little more than drag the process out. Communication is practically nonexistent unless you constantly chase them down. My case has been shuffled between multiple people without any notice or explanation, and every time that happens, it feels like starting over. The level of disorganization is unacceptable. I've received conflicting information, poor follow-through, and at times had to gather and submit my own documents just to keep my case from stalling even further. That is not what you hire an attorney for. At this point, it feels like my case has been neglected rather than actively handled.
