My family and I were rear ended by a driver on the freeway and the driver fled the scene. My husband was able to get a picture of the driver's license and we called the police. I truly hope no one ever has a problem in their life that forces them to seek an attorney. I contacted this office based on the recommendation of another lawyer, since they are supposed to specialize in Home Depot cases. But you may not believe it -- after one month of waiting, today they finally told me that they cannot take my case, without giving any reasonable explanation. This is despite the fact that I sent them the demand letter on the very first day. I won't mention any names here because it will make this review too long, but I was completely passed around from one person to another. On the first day, I spoke with a lady who gave me an email address and asked me to send the demand letter there. Then I was told someone would contact me. I ended up speaking with 4-5 different people, and in the end, absolutely nothing happened. I even asked them directly: does a simple "yes" or "no" really require someone to wait an entire month? If it takes this long just to give an answer, then I can't imagine how long it would take if they actually decided to take the case -- probably ten years. My experience with this office was not good at all. I don't care how skilled they may be or what they have done for others -- my personal experience was simply bad. Their service was confusing, inconsistent, and unorganized. You never know who you are actually talking to, who the manager is, or who is responsible for what. I spoke with so many different people and got absolutely no results. And after all my follow-ups, they finally texted me -- after a month -- saying they cannot take the case. I honestly responded that I was happy to hear that, because even if they had accepted it, I no longer wanted them to represent me. I was in a really bad car accident with a commercial vehicle. Carpenter & Zuckerman is nothing more than a bait-and-switch operation that preys on vulnerable clients, only to abandon them when it matters. From the start, their relentless pursuit of my case was alarming--I was constantly hounded by receptionists and intake workers who seemed more interested in signing me up than actually handling my case. It felt like they were chasing some kind of commission or kickback for every client they could rope in. I mistakenly took this as commitment, thinking they were truly dedicated to fighting for me. I provided them with undeniable evidence for my case, including photos, videos, and text messages, all of which they assured me made for a strong case. But after they sent me to medical providers--costing me time, money, and emotional strain--they inexplicably dropped my case without any explanation; just that the attorneys were "too busy at this time". The attorneys handling my case didn't even have the courtesy or decency to have a conversation with me, proving their utter indifference and apathy. I was passed around between different agents, paralegals, and attorneys who seemed completely lost and disinterested. They failed to provide any real updates or even do basic work on my case, despite medical providers' feedback on my injury. What makes this worse is that their empty promises diverted me from other reputable law firms who were eager to take my case seriously. Carpenter & Zuckerman's negligence not only wasted my time but literally adds insult to injury. This behavior is extremely laughable and unprofessional, but also borderline malpractice. If you want to be shuffled around and treated like your case doesn't matter, then this is the firm for you. Otherwise, avoid them at all costs.
