Dr. Rosenbaum does not have good patient etiquette. I saw him twice and in the 3 hours between two…read morevisits I spoke with him for 5 minutes. It's clear he's taking on too many patients and when he does come in he's very short and doesn't give you any reassurance. The office staff seems unorganized and doesn't make the patients experience seamless. If you're referred to him please do yourself a favor and run.

TL:DR -- Doctors good. Everything else, especially Millennium Affiliated Physicians/MHP…read moreadministration, TERRIBLE! I have nothing bad to say about the doctors. They have provided excellent care, especially Dr. Arthur Powell. As for the rest of this shit show, avoid it like the plague if you have other options. I asked for a referral last week. This morning I received a phone call saying that the doctor would need to see me before a referral could be made. That was not a problem. However, if I were to obtain a referral, it would only be to a doctor affiliated with Millennium/MHP, not the doctor I have been seeing for well over a decade. Although my HMO has no such limitations, MHP thinks its appropriate to restrict care in such a manner. The company is defined by its race to the bottom (line). For me, this was the final straw. My past issues with Millennium Affiliated Physicians and MHP, its corporate parent, include the following: - Having to wait six weeks (and hours on the phone with the doctor's office and MHP administration) to receive blood test results - Listening to a nurse complain about Dr. Powell's preference for spending time with his patients because it threw off her schedule (This was in a conversation with me, not one that I overheard.) - Being double billed and spending hours on the phone with the doctor's office, MHP administration, and the billing company attempting to resolve this issue (MHP uses an outside billing company, and I thought its customer service reps were in either Vietnam or China because of their very limited English comprehension and lack of understanding of how medical billing works.) - Not receiving a referral called in two weeks ahead of time with follow-up confirmation calls (The referral didn't arrive at the specialist's office until well after my appointment. Being familiar with the office's administrative practices, the receptionist at the specialist's office knew this was par for the course. On the day of that appointment, I actually stayed on hold for an hour just to see how long it would take for someone to return to the phone. When someone did return, she yelled at me about the difficulties of her job/day.) - Being screamed at over the phone (See point above.) - Avoiding seeing specialists because the referral system was too much of a pain (and this was before the new policy) - Learning that the voicemail for the referral and prescription numbers has not worked for months, despite the office's calls for service If I ran my business the way Millennium and MHP administers this office, I would be out of business. Interestingly, it's very difficult to find the URL for doctors' offices or MHP. The website for the Millennium Medical Group, which ostensibly is/was the name of the corporate parent, directs to a site that is no longer public. Google hits do not reflect its renaming to MHP. The doctors' offices all continue to use the Millennium branding. Many do not have their own websites. It's like MHP is trying to hide from the public.
