I happened to come across this friterie because we booked a hotel room in Trois Ponts for the…read morenight, traveling around a few different places in the Ardennes. The friterie immediately reminded me of an American diner. There was no counter service and the like but it just had that feeling to me - a nice feeling. The place was easy to spot, on the main road just as you come into the main part of town. What I also noticed immediately was that there were a LOT of people waiting to order. We passed the place a few times, hours apart and there was always a little crowd there. Just has to say something! To be honest, we only needed drinks, having eaten an hour or so beforehand, so got some water and a Coke. It happened to be the only non-restaurant place opened in town at the time, on a Friday evening! It is a typical friterie but looks like so much more.

The cheeseburger was real beef, the lasagne was amazing, the tomato soup was made with real ingredients, and the ambience was great as well. Our waiter was completely professional, super nice, and they were all very friendly, given out American handicap with language and comprehension. GO HERE!!!
