I paid the $50 deposit and was willing to pay the $25 travel fee, and still Zainab tried to cancel on me the week of my event by saying she can't drive to my location. We arranged an Uber for her to and from our location, and she was still unhappy even though the Uber cost more than her initial travel fee. She then, after arriving, kept calling and being on her phone while doing my bridal henna and while doing henna for my other guests. Even after requesting bridal henna, her designs were very simple and she kept making mistakes. I showed her an example of the design I wanted and she did not take that into consideration at all. I also wanted my groom's name placed in my henna and she said no at first then barely placed it in my henna, and his name was the first to fade. She then kept wanting to leave even though we requested her services for 2h. She kept asking guests while doing their henna when her Uber was coming. When her Uber arrived that we booked for her, she left mid-way while doing henna for a guest. She even made a scene while I was giving a thank you speech to my guests at my bridal shower, wanting to know about her Uber and her payment. Her designs were not as advertised and she had terrible customer service. I really would not recommend her services in any way, and I was disappointed that she made my function a terrible experience due to her behavior with me and with my guests. It was beyond disappointing and honestly embarrassing for me that I booked her. I had to explain to my guests the full situation because she made no effort to hide her behavior. I have never been more disgraced because of someone else's services I booked and paid for fully. I do not recommend her and feel misled by her website and the other reviews. 0/5 stars, do not book her. She has no respect for customers or celebrations taking place. Truly upsetting. read more

Highly Recommended for All henna art. I visited Zaiand last year in the summer when she was in Chicago for my bridal henna to celebrate my elopement announcement. She is definitely an expert at henna. She was able to give me a custom lotus pattern on my hands that was absolutely beautiful. The henna lasted over a month with proper care. Wow Zainab is a true professional artist. I just picked out a design and she just quickly freehanded it. I got a large chest design from shoulder to shoulder. She did such detail work which covered my keloid scar. She made it look beautiful. I can wear pretty tops again just in time for summer. I feel like a new person. I'm so glad that I found her. Zainab came to my husband company picnic. Both my daughter and I chose to have have her henna our shoulders. My design was more complicated in the book and she didn't do the full design (perhaps because there was a line starting to build). What she did do turned out beautifully and I received many compliments. She talked to me about the meaning of the design and the location I chose while she worked and gave me detailed instructions on how to maintain the henna. Zainab is very flexible and talented in her henna style. It was a great experience. Inexpensive and she did a Japanese script for me with her own outline. I really like the natural process. She is very well versed in all things henna and even offers hair dye in henna which is healthier and safer for hair. Its much easier to do than traditional chemical hair dyes we commonly use on the market. She's very talented and has tons of work to choose from if you don't want to design your own tattoos.
