I kept getting tired during the session and kept asking for breaks and Aziza didn't even complain once. She stayed past midnight to finish off the henna for me And it came out to be perfect. She uses the henna without any chemicals and it's all natural so no reactions on your hand if one has sensitive skin. She has great advice on how to take care for your henna so it's as dark and vibrant as possible. Her cost is fair and worth every penny. Would definitely recommend her to a friend.

She was very patient, took the time to listen to my concerns, and made great recommendations. If you don't have an appointment, I recommend calling before you head in. Only Chhaya was there on Saturday midday and she asked me to come after 12:30 because she'd be tied up in appointments until then. The salon itself is clean and she wore a mask the entire time. You can pay--including tip--on credit card. Threading cost $11. My old salon offered aloe, post-service, which was not offered here. But I live closeby enough that it was no big deal to apply some when I got home. It hurt about the amount that I expected and no bleeding, cuts, etc. It's great that they also have a punch card system. Happy to have found my go-to spot for threading!

I'm from Virginia so I was scarred when I was introduced to the threading options in Atlanta. However, the only thing that saved me is this place. I highly recommend it. It's not super fancy and it's kind of hidden and a one-man shop type thing but it beats out every other place that I've been to that might see Mormon together on the outside.

I called his office in the afternoon, and he married us that same night at 8 PM. My husband and I were smitten with each other and wanted to tie the knot in a spec8al yet unassuming way. I want to thank Rev. Thomas for patently waiting an hour for us to drive to his location. We were so nervous. We arrived with little fanfare - no rings, nothing special, just the two of us. I want to thank you for making our ceremony special. It was truly all about us and our commitment to one another. October 20,2022, is a day we will forever hold dear to our hearts! Scoobie West and his team did a phenomenal job doing the hair and makeup for my wife, her…read morebridesmaids and mom, and my groomswoman. The pictures speak for themselves. If you're looking for a true professional to do hair and makeup for your bridal party and/or special occasion, I can't recommend Scoobie and his team enough. They are A+. Scoobie was recommended to us by our wedding planner, Jordan Xu of Emily Jordan Events: https://www.yelp.com/biz/emily-jordan-events-atlanta. I also can't recommend Jordan and her team enough. They're outstanding. My wife, in conjunction with Jordan's advice, chose Scoobie over other recommended hair and makeup companies in Atlanta based primarily upon Scoobie and his team's ability to work with many different skin tones and hair types. The bridesmaids, groomswoman, and my mother-in-law's races/ethnicities ran the gamut: black, white, Chinese, and Indian. Scoobie and his team did excellent work with everyone. Everyone was happy. The total cost for the hair and makeup for my wife, her mom, six bridesmaids, and one groomswoman was $1,810. That consisted of a $200 deposit at the time the contract was signed, $225 for my wife's (bride's) hair, $225 for my wife's (bride's) makeup, $85 each for everyone else's hair, and $85 each for everyone else's makeup. The contract was signed and the deposit paid in October 2019, so we got 2019 pricing. Scoobie won't hold a date without a contract and deposit. Our wedding was originally scheduled for May 2020 and then the COVID-19 pandemic happened. We postponed our wedding from May 2020 to May 2021. Due to the unprecedented situation at the time, all of our wedding vendors, including Scoobie, did not charge us for postponing our wedding. My mom accompanied my wife (then-fiancee) to her trial with Scoobie in September 2020. The trial was included in the contract. I remember my wife looking amazing at dinner that night. After the trial, Scoobie personally contacted my wife to make sure she was happy with how she looked and to make sure it was what she really wanted. She really appreciated that. It really showed that Scoobie cared. Our wedding got delayed again, from May 2021 to April 2022. Understandably and like many of our vendors, Scoobie charged a $150 date change fee. Even though about 19 months passed between the trial and our wedding day, Scoobie's work on our wedding day was still impeccable. On our wedding day, I was in our suite at our hotel in Buckhead when Scoobie promptly arrived at the 9:00am appointment time. Shortly after, two of his teammates arrived. They got straight to work, moving furniture and setting up their workspaces with lights, makeup, tools, and accessories. I'd previously seen Scoobie's Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/scoobiewest/) and felt like I was in the presence of royalty with him and his team. After briefly meeting Scoobie and his team, I left the suite and didn't see my wife again until our First Look about eight hours later. My wife said Scoobie brought good vibes to the room. Again, the pictures speak for themselves. Scoobie and his team made my wife and everyone look so glamorous and beautiful. Simply incredible, flawless work. Five stars. Thank you, Scoobie!
