I hired Jinal for my bridal mehendi, and I am so glad I did. She was extremely skilled at the intricate designs and was able to effortlessly adapt to the requests I made - of which there were many! I am so appreciative that she truly listened to what I wanted, especially as I pointed out certain filler designs that I absolutely did not want, and she found creative beautiful alternatives that looked incredible. Her skill goes beyond just the designs, she explained the process of making her own henna and I realized how critical it is for an artist to know exactly how thin/thick and viscous the mixture must be for her to have control over the designs. Finally, the cherry on top of her skill and creativity was the calm and kind attitude she carries. Jinal is extremely skilled in henna! She did my bridal henna both arms up to the elbow and both feet up to the ankles in 3 hours. She is very fast and efficient. She also did my mom's henna on both arms just in 2 hours. She is creative, focuses on her work despite distractions, and makes sure there are no mistakes. She also provided me with an after care kit to protect the henna and to make sure I get the darkest stain. I was shocked to see how dark it was already by the next day. Jinal had done my bridal mehendi as well as the henna for my family and my husband's family the following day. Jinal did an amazing job! She worked quickly while maintaining intricate designs! She gave us a care kit afterwards that not only ensured that my mehndi was dark enough for my hindu ceremony 2 days later but also allowed for my henna to be still dark enough for my western wedding ceremony in Hawaii almost 5 days later. Book with caution!! Highly unprofessional. Two weeks before my wedding jinal contacts me to let me know that there was a misunderstanding in our contract for her to arrive at my home at 4pm to do henna. (We confirmed through text many months ago and it is also in the contract) She was pushing to change the time to 7:30pm but since it is a few days before my wedding, I have other plans. I asked if she could make it in the morning and she suggested 8:30am in which I agreed. Then she proceeded to let me know that she needed time to get back to me on a time that she had proposed to me. Hours went by and never recieved a confirmation. I waited to contact her the following morning (today) only to receive an automated blocked message response (you can only imagine the panic since we only have a few weeks left) it turns out she has a prepaid phone that needed to be recharged (it was never mentioned that I may recieve a message like that) then when she does respond she tells me that she cannot make 8:30am and when I asked if she was available another day she also denied me. It was an extremely frustrating situation especially because the time and date was already confirmed. Now I have to start my search again and hopefully someone will have an opening for me. read more

Jinal did my bridal mehndi earlier this month and I can't recommend her enough! She is extremely talented, and her designs are delicate, detailed and beautiful. She was very polite and courteous during the booking process. We needed last minute bookings for other events, and even though she was already booked that day, she set us up with other artists who were also great. For my bridal mehndi and for my family, she arrived punctually early in the morning. She makes her own cones and they have that pure pleasant mehndi smell. She's soooo detail oriented. The color and design came out STUNNING- she provided me with a balm to apply afterwards and I followed her exact after-care instructions. Everyone complimented how beautiful my mehndi was, and how rich and deep the color turned out. My family also loved their designs, and no one had the same patterns. Jinal's work is awesome! She did my full bridal henna -- arms and legs -- and designs on so many guests over the course of our henna party. Her style is very intricate and detailed, and it was amazing to watch her come up with beautiful, flowing designs. Jinal was so pleasant and professional to deal with, too - she made working out the details of the contract very easy. She makes her own all-natural henna paste, which is great - I like knowing what's going on my skin. A large portion of my wedding party had never had henna done before, so she was also great at explaining how to keep the henna hydrated for the first-timers. Even though I had the henna done just one day before my wedding, it had darkened significantly by my ceremony the following day, and the designs stayed on my skin for a long time, earning compliments everywhere I went.
