This is a very polite, friendly little shop at the heart of a friendly little community. It has everything that you'd expect such a store to have to see you till the next day or indeed, the next trip to the shop.
Eggs, milk and bread are the main commodities in these parts it would seem, taking centre stage next to the newspapers and magazines. There's a good sweet selection for the kids as well as a wide choice of children's comics - just the sort of factors I used to love on a Saturday morning. Another nice point is the presence of fresh fruit, which is always an added bonus.
Aside from the shop keeper constantly calling me Sir (which is as dignifying as it is annoying in equal measures) and the newspapers being thoughtfully laid out next to each other on the chest freezer, that's about it.
