When I reminded the dispatcher that I was told to call that morning, he said he would have someone pick us up at the LIRR station in Garden City later that morning. NO ONE SHOWED UP. My Mom is 83 years old and was anxious about getting to this meeting on time (literally a 6 minute drive) from the LIRR. When I called the dispatcher asking where the taxi was, I was told we would have to wait 15 minutes. We called LYFT who showed up in 4 minutes.

I got picked up in a brand new Lincoln town car and my driver absolutely did the right thing by me. The ride was smooth and he did not rely on GPS which makes me believe he is a real Long Island driver which is very much unlike some other drivers I've seen in the city.
