The staff is very friendly and helpful, the place is squeaky clean and cool, there are clean bathrooms and a water fountain onsite, with plenty of parking in the lot. IMPORTANT NOTE: This place is hard to find on maps and most GPS systems. The address does not work. The official mailing address does not work on GPS systems or even on a map, its a MailIng Address only: 3650A Highway 528 Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87144 Google Maps on the website does not work, Google does not accurately place this location at all, do not use it. This has been verified by all the visitors that use Google Maps or Droid phones/Tablets Apple Maps on your Mac, iPhone or iPad do work precisely, but when you get there you will need to actually look at the screen to see that the building is a block east of 528 (i.e. you cant see that the building is not actually on 528 and the streets are not marked), just drive down the narrow (unmarked) street and watch the Map app, you'll see the building on the right side. J&R Vintage Auto Museum really is a block South of 550, and a block East of 528 in Rio Rancho near the intersection of 528 and 550. The official mailing address is on 528 but the building is not there, the building actually on a small street a block away from that map address. In reality its close to the intersection of. Christopher and Gabby Lane but neither one of those show up on any maps. The best way to find it if you don't have an iPhone is to simply use the GPS coordinates 35.323084,-106.571464 If you type that (accurately) in the search window of your iPhone or iPad's Maps app then it will place you right in the parking lot for the museum. If you can't do that then map your way to Montoya Road and 528 which is the the nearest major intersection that actually shows up on most maps. Turn East on Montoya Road then take the first street on the left then make the forst right. The building is on the right. http://www.jrvintageautos.com

They had a lot of fun names for the candles, which was probably our favorite part. The scents themselves are similar to what you can get at any candle shop. We ended up getting a Lavender candle and left. When we made it to our car, we realized there was a crack in the candle holder. We went back to exchange it for a non-broken one, and they said they couldn't do that since we had already left the store. We were gone for 15 mins just to walk to our car and back. Absolutely ridiculous! These candles are not cheap and now you're going to force us to buy another candle when the crack is on your business? No thank you. Edit to owner: yes, these pictures are from 2 months ago. I'm late on my reviews. That's not a crime. If you look at my review history, you can see I don't just attack businesses for no reason. My reviews are stating my experience so there's no need to get defensive. I'm also not requesting a refund or new candle. However, based on your response, I can see my thoughts on your business are accurate. Not even an apology for my experience just because I forgot to take a photo? I am reducing my rating to 1 star based on your accusatory response.

In July 2017 I purchased a stunning turquoise pendant & necklace. It was a statement piece so I had only worn it once prior. The second time I wore it, December 2017, one of the 3 strands on the necklace broke. I contacted Trader Barb to have the necklace repaired. I thought rather than taking it to my local jeweler who does not specialize in turquoise, I would have the originator work on it. In January 2018 it was agreed that I would pay for shipping the item to her jeweler so he/she could repair the piece. According to the tracker, the piece had arrived 3 days later. I waited several weeks but heard nothing. Not even a confirmation that it had arrived or it was in line for repairs. Finally I initiated and email and I was told I missed the date her jewel was in house and it would be an additional month he/she returned. Disappointed and aggravated I had the piece returned to me, again at my expense. Remember this piece was less than a year old when it broke. Bottomline: If you purchase jeweler from Trader Barb, you are purchasing AS IS merchandise; no guarantee, no warrantee and no support.

I've recommended Castle Gold & Silver to many friends with mixed reactions. It's not a New York City top tier name brand jewelry store. But that's the point. Most people don't understand that when you buy from a "fashion designer" jewelry brand you're paying a large mark-up for the name. Whereas when you purchase your jewelry from a shop like Castle, you'll be buying the actual value of the precious stones, metal, and workmanship. Oftentimes, you may even find some of those designer jewelry pieces which a customer received as a gift, but decided didn't suit her style. A true find for those of us who don't have the time for shopping trips out-of-town! In all, you can't go wrong by stopping by to see what's new at Castle Gold & Silver!
