We arrived prior to our massage appointment to enjoy the sauna and hot tub. The area around the hot…read moretub had no chairs, no tables to place our towels, robes or belongings. After being in a highly chlorinated hot tub I wanted to rinse off and hydrate my skin with some lotion. None to be found in the men's locker room. I asked one of the massage therapist who happened to be walking by and she said "we don't put lotion in the locker rooms". My response- "you don't provide lotion in a spa locker room"? Her response "nope". She was very rude, snappy and short in her responses. The inside temp of the spa was 88 degrees. We felt like we were suffocating in very hot air. Unfortunately we ended up leaving before our appointments. We did not get a welcoming friendly vibe. Lack of interests in the customer needs. No thank you! I will take my time and money to another spa. In response to Amber- you are correct. We did receive a tour of your spa which was much appreciated and also expected. Your spa men's locker room also lacked correctly sized spa slides. All were size extra small. But after a very brief short tour there was no one left in sight to assist. "The butler" who didn't realize her title as butler when we asked. We were not sure who to address concerns and questions to." We couldn't find you Amber to address our concerns regarding the very warm temp of the waiting area, get a WiFi password, and recieve proper products for our visit. While you may claim you are an "intimate" boutique spa. Your service did not provide any level of intimate personal experience. Your employees should have the answers to basic questions/ needs of a spa. Lotion is a basic essential.

I'd recommend, but with some constructive criticism. The masseuse shouldn't scold the client about…read moredrinking coffee before the session. My masseuse was very good, but she had what I felt like was a lot of criticism about my posture, my breathing, and more. She paused too much during the actual massage with hot towels. Seemed like way too long I waited for actual hands on massage. She never offered water. She appeared with a clipboard at the end and I didn't even have my glasses to see what I was signing. She was gone like the wind once I paid. I love massages. I get them all the time. She knew what she was doing. She gave a great massage, but it came with some deficiency in bedside manner.

I've been seeing Danielle weekly for about 2 months. Danielle is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic,…read moreaccommodating and friendly. She is nurturing and comfortable to be around. In my case the massages have been more therapeutic in nature rather than a relaxing type of massage as I brought with me several debilitating issues (back, plantar fasciitis, IT band). Danielle took the time to understand my history and symptoms as well as the severity of each and then helped prioritize treatment. Not only has she been tenacious in her pursuit of my sore and tight muscles but she has also made many excellent suggestions for me to continue improving on my own between visits. Today, I was able to take my first short hike and had no pain upon return - thanks in very large part to Danielle.

From the owner: Hello, I am Emme…read moreMonique, a Certified Deep Tissue Massage Therapist. My goal is to assist clients in finding the postural and lifestyle-created imbalances in the body so that they can move more freely and pain-free. As I work with each of my clients, I question them to explore the hidden sources of stress: in what ways do they stand, sit, or move that might be creating limitation? All of this gives me the information necessary to help set up my clients for complete wellness. The bodywork I do is an integrated approach of modalities; Swedish, to warm and flush toxins from their tissues; Deep Tissue, to eliminate areas of fascial adhesion and muscular contracture; Neuromuscular Therapy, to re-establish the balance between the muscular and nervous systems by finding and eliminating pain-generating trigger points; and Myofascial Therapy, which works to re-establish balance in connective tissue. Being active in the Tetons naturally creates stresses and structural imbalances in our bodies. The goal of my body work is to keep each and every client comfortably and enjoyably doing what they love to do--whether it's fly fishing, skiing, running, biking, playing hockey, doing CrossFit, or taking the dog for a romp in the forest. I look forward to meeting and assisting you in finding balance, and freedom of movement in your body. Emme Monique
