Since OrthoIndy was aware that Terre Haute had a very respectable orthopedic rehab clinic I decided to stay local rather than to use the therapist close to the OrthoIndy hospital. It was a great move as the care, attention and education I received from Ashim Bakshi and his staff could not have been better. Following their instructions and regimen to the letter my recovery remains such that my mobility is near to that of my God-given shoulder. You can't beat that! Bottom line is that when it comes to rehabilitation, you get out of it what you put into it. Choose your mentors carefully just as we have; we have returned to Ashim Bakshi and his staff to help my wife's recovery from a broken neck (C2) incurred in a recent auto accident. We're in good hands.

Doctor Izad said i would have to have eye injections. I cried like a baby. I'm scared to death of needles. My first injection I tried to be sick etc so I would not have to go. The day arrived. Doctor Izad is amazing along with his staff. I felt nothing. For all of you out there and I know there are a lot. I see you in his waiting room. please do not be afraid. I know we fear the unknown. I have never had such a caring doctor. he is absolutely amazing. his staff is also. they make your ever dreaded appointment amazing. YOU FEEL NO PAIN WHATSOEVER.
