Melissa Rivera and Danielle were instrumental in finding a person to take care of my mom. Right from the beginning they brought over Dollie P. Dollie became my mom's caregiver for the next 2 years until she passed a year ago. With being overwhelmed this last year it is now that I write this review. Dollie was my mom's savior. My mom LOVED Dollie like she was family. My sister and I also loved her for taking the best care of my mom! My mom and Dollie loved each other and it was so obvious how my mom did not want anybody else taking care of her except Dollie. In fact a year later, my sister and I still keep in touch with Dollie. We cannot thank Dollie enough for how she took stellar care of my mom. She was always on time, patient, honest, caring, compassionate and always there and willing to do anything for my mom. My mother has dementia and it was time we needed help to assist with day to day care giving. She…read moreis a very strong and stubborn woman which would make finding assistance a difficult task. We contacted Home Care Assistance who came and met with us to assess the level of care required and to find a caregiver with the required skill set to appropriately take care of my mother. They found 2 caregivers within a day and reviewed their qualifications and experience with us. We requested an interview with one of the caregivers which was immediately set up. After selecting the caregiver, our Client Manager accompanied her on the first day and stayed a while to ensure a smooth transition. Our Client Manager keeps in contact with us regularly to make sure things are going well and if there is anything additional she and the team can do to assist. It's hard enough deciding it's time to get a loved one some help, so choosing a home care provider is a very important decision. We are very happy with the care and interest Home Care Assistance staff and personnel have supplied with the care of my mother. In a fast moving world with numerous responsibilities to attend to daily, it's very comforting to know that there is someone there taking good care of my mother and to ensure she has everything she needs. In addition to finding qualified help, it was very reassuring to discover the honesty of our caregiver as well. With my mother's dementia and confusion that comes with it, she paid her caregiver $50 cash her first day. The caregiver brought it to my attention and handed me the money. Danielle helped our family through a difficult time. She is competent, professional and empathetic and was able to get us the help we needed in one day. My brother was recently diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer. Although he was approved for Hospice, the hospital would not discharge him until we had hired an aide for additional hours. Due to Covid, there is a shortage of health care aides. We found a facility, but they had to cancel us due to staffing problems and another facility canceled when the aide had been exposed to Covid and had to quarantine. That occurred the day before my brother was supposed to be discharged. Needless to say, he was very disappointed. We were referred to yet another facility, who could not help us, but did put me in touch with Danielle. She worked with me throughout the day, patiently answering all of my questions and helping me navigate through the process of getting the help we needed. Thanks to Danielle, my brother is going home, today, only a day later than what had been scheduled with the facility that had to cancel! We have been in touch with others at Home Care Assistance and have been pleased, so far! Thank you, Danielle!

Then when I finally get to orientation I was told I cant do it because I was not in uniform when I was never told to wear a uniform for orientation. so I let it go. I went next door to purchase a uniform so I can make it on time as I was told by the person there. once I come back I was told my physical expired yesterday so I cant take orientation today because of that. I felt as if they put any obstacle for me not to be able to get in there. I don't speck english to well but I completely understand it and I felt as I was being discriminated for my race by making it impossible for me to go through the hiring process as I am 100% qualified for the job.
