Let me start by saying that, if you are claustrophobic, don't walk into this shop :-) It is however…read morethe most impressive basement shop I have ever visited. From the street you can see the huge old style mirrors hanging along the walkway and then when you have entered the innenhof of the building you will see a bunch more things stacked outside. Once you step down the stairs into the basement you enter a whole new world. It's a huge basement shop filled with chandeliers, vitrines, tableware, furniture, lamps, antiques, old frames / photos / paintings and heaps of other things. I reckon, there is over a 1000 chandeliers alone, hanging from the ceiling and tightly packed into the place. The amount of beautiful bohemian crystal here is amazing. I checked out the prices of many of the items and it looked ok. It's not cheap but most of these things aren't. If you like classic and old style things you will love this place. It's packed with goodies for the curious shopper and collector.

Buyer beware! This seemingly charming couple play a slick game. She offered me a "discount" on a…read morepurchase which wasn't exactly the greatest price but I wanted it. So she swiped 2 different cards of mine and after having me sign the receipt claimed the transaction had not gone through. She then accepted my husband's card and unbeknownst to him charged him a higher price. Two days later, not knowing we had been ripped off we returned to take a second look at something. When my husband asked the price, he was quoted a new price that was 100 euros more! Imagine my surprise when my bank statement arrived and discovered the charge! My dispute lead nowhere. No refund was forthcoming because they had my signature and because the amount varied from the one on my husband's card it looks like two separate purchases.. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS.

Great selection of English antiques, not the garage sale junk you find at other "antique" stores…read morenearby. The best place for large heirloom pieces I have found in Germany yet. The stock is constantly changing and people are very nice.
