The staff at this Haunted House went above and beyond to make sure I could get through the house in my wheelchair. The manager (who's name I don't remember, sorry!) and Ryan made the experience as smooth as possible, and went out of their way to ensure I could get to have the haunted house experience with my friends. I can't recommend this place enough! Super spooky rooms (one of them is still haunting me), great actors, wonderful theming, and just an all around great experience! Even when an actor had to help me get by something, they did it in character. Helpful and spooky, the perfect combo. read more

Okay hellscream and fear complex used to be #1 in 4 states, but last year it went down hill, this year they let over half of their staff go and replaced them with animatronics they shut down almost the entire basement (that's where my favorite scare was the big guy in the mask just moving in and out of the darkness) it simply IS NOT worth the money they charge now. Avoid if possible. read more

Very fun and spooky! Even for a 30 year old The walkthrough was long enough so felt very worth it!

The actors were so creative and the wait to get in was not bad for the day before Halloween! Definitely recommend

I loved Hell scream it was so fun me and my two friends went it was definitely scary and fun I really recommend Hell Scream they have a guy that chases you with a chainsaw I thought that was the scariest part but it was all very fun. If you like haunted houses I really recommend Hell Scream. I really love this place definitely recommend trying and going through. read more

He'll scream haunted house was the first haunted house I've ever gone to and will definitely be going back I twisted my ankle in the middle of it and the staff actually cared. DEFINITELY COMiNG BACK VERY SCARY! read more

I was so excited when I was in town for vacation and saw there was a haunted house open this weekend. Holy crap did this place suck. The details inside are amazing don't get me wrong. But we paid $50 to get pushed into a huge group that was 4 smaller other groups. They definitely didn't give enough of a gap between the people. So everyone was all stacked together. So by the time we walked by no one was jumping out and scaring us. Overall I'm super disappointed especially because they had such good reviews. I wouldn't recommend this haunted house. read more

WORTH THE MONEY! Came here 2 days ago! Came back today! As a huge fan of escape rooms and self proclaimed professional I give this location a 10 out of 10. I have done 2 out of 3 rooms and WILL BE BACK TO CONQUER THE 3rd. This location has both group and private events. The Elevator one is definitely an interesting and beautiful crafted concept. The cast and crew are amazing and really help make the experience. read more

Kudos to Vince, Cortney and their team! What a fantastic job they have done. Absolutely loved "The Elevator" Escape Room.. or should I says rooms!!! Multiple rooms with this one. Thoughtful, creative, and a ton of fun!!! Some rooms are more lit then others. Some you used candle light, which was a really great concept. The mix of finding numbers, letters and some math to go with locks/keys/tools was cleaver. read more

GO HERE FOR ESCAPE ROOMS!! I have done a lot of escape room over the years and this place is the REAL DEAL. The rooms are exciting, challenging, creative, very unique, and 100% worth the money. I would also highly recommend choosing the scary option! The actors are awesome and might even help you out on your adventure ;) The staff are professional, funny, and friendly. They provided me with one of the most positive escape room experiences I've had to date. Thank you to the Hellscream Staff for an amazing time! And if you're still trying to decide where to go for you escape room experience, I'll help you out one more time: GO HERE! :) read more

I love Hellscream! I've been here twice now for the escape rooms and had an amazing time with both. The staff is extremely nice which makes the experience even more enjoyable. My first visit I did "The Manor" escape room in the scary version with a group of 8. We didn't make it out but still had an awesome time. The second time I did "The Elevator" non-scary with a group of six and made it out with 17 minutes to spare. So fun! Highly recommend Hellscream for their escape rooms. Thanks guys for a great time! I will be back soon. read more

Haunted house part: Really fun and long and my 4 rating is based on the haunted house itself. Customer service when buying our tickets was absolutely terrible ! No greeting and then I say 2 of us please and show the woman who had short blonde hair and was older say 40s (wish I got her name to report her) that their Facebook page has a $3 off coupon. She then says "another one of these" ! Then she grabs my phone from my hand without asking to show it to another employee. Then says that's $20 each! Doesn't even say sorry we can't take this or anything. I then say so are you going to take that down from the Facebook page so everyone else won't be disappointed too when they can't get the coupon ? The rude woman then says "that's on the owners"..... I walked away so weirded out by her attitude and lack of customer service. This employee needs to be talked to by her employer about customer service .... read more

Meh. I haven't been to a haunted house in forever, so naturally I was ecstatic to go! They pack people in there so close that all the good scares are used on the people directly ahead of you. You can actually see the train of people going through there as you're going. It looks like a little conga line or an ant procession....both were pretty prominent visions in my head. The scenery was AWEsome, but they relied too much on it, and didn't have enough people to jump out at you. There would be 1-2 min periods that nothing would actively scare you, so you're just walking along in the ant procession looking at the scenery. It WAS nice and long, tho. All in all, i would NOT go back, since the whole point of the haunted house was lost. Space people out, a lot more. I feel like I wasted $56 for my husband and me. I would've been more scared sitting at home and watching a scary movie. read more

Our group did the Elevator escape room! The props and rooms throughout the experience were amazing! Each section was unique and a right amount of challenging in its own way. Additionally, the actor did a fantastic job at engaging our group and scaring us at the level we requested. While we have done dozens of other escape rooms in the past, this is by far the greatest escape room we have ever done! read more

We went to the escape room. Elevator. It was so much fun, we went with the scare factor. So fun. We are going to go again and we difenelty recommend this as a great time. It's a blast, everyone we encountered was friendly and happy to answer all questions. Please please go and have fun read more

You will have a great time, just walking into the building was suspenseful! Everything down to details was amazing we opted for the scary version (which it's pretty Erie as it is) we did the Pen Escape room and it was a blast! The actors are amazing and the staff were accommodating! We are so excited to book another room with them! Hands down best escape room read more

Went last night for the first time, and I absolutely loved it! We did the elevator, and I've never had so much fun! The people who work there are great, the rooms are amazing, and I'm going to go back as often as I can! read more

Me, my husband and a friend came here to do The Elevator escape room. The guy who greeted us (totally forgot his name) was super welcoming when we got there. We waited on two other people before we started the room. When first walking in you can really tell they pay attention to detail when it comes to the decor giving it a super creepy vibe. We chose the scary option for the escape room, we ended up getting out in time. We had two people going around switching into different rooms to scare us. They did a great job dressing up, and walking around. My only suggestion is to make the cafeteria part darker (less light) I think it would really amp up the scare factor! That part was probably my favorite part because a lot of detail went into it. & I think having more people to walk around banging on walls while you're trying to figure things out would also amp it up just a tad. Other than that I have nothing bad to say! Would definitely come again:) I love that everyone we met seems so passionate there. Makes it even more enjoyable when you can tell the people there really enjoy their work ! Thanks for having us. read more

We went in today for the Pen escape room and it was amazing!! We had so much fun! There is the option of having scares or not but the scares are definitely worth it. I was very against them at first because i don't really enjoy being scared because I'm such a chicken but it was so cool!! Very entertaining and it would have been a totally different experience if we didn't have the scares! I suggest it! Everyone was nice and inviting and a very fun and well worth it for the good price!! The coolest escape room i have ever been to! read more

Hellscream is usually our favorite Haunted House, but this year they were more interested in pushing people through. They had 3 groups (15 people) enter at the same time. So nothing was a surprise, and the staff inside rushed everyone through. So, no jump scares or surprises unless you were in the front of the 15, and rushed so you couldn't even appreciate the decorations or themes of the rooms. We would have gladly waited 5 more minutes in line to get a better experience and not get herded through like cattle. I read on their site that recommended best experience was max 6 people, but they don't run it that way. All about the money I guess. read more

The props, special effects, and general atmosphere inside are well done. Unfortunately as another reviewer said, you need to be the first to walk in the group through the haunted house in order to be scared. If not, then you see everything happen before you get to it, basically ruining any potential scares. Since I ended up toward the end by default, I would have liked to see more people creep up from behind or wait to jump out, but that only happened once (my one and only scare). What startled me the most was when I tripped several times with sudden changes to the uneven floor. Luckily I never fell (and yes, I was sober). The Haunted House took all of about 20-25 minutes to get through with a combo of normal to slow walking pace. It took about the same time, 20-25 minutes, waiting in line with VIP tickets to even go in. I could not imagine how long it took with general admin tickets, as that line was three times as long. An attendant working the VIP line was pretty rude, practically screaming at us as we walked up and ordering us to go get paper tickets instead of using our mobile phones. There were individuals dressed up, walking around scaring people in line so that was entertaining to watch while waiting. Overall, I was a little disappointed in the "scare" factor and the advertised 45 minutes to walk through the haunted house. read more

It is a total waste of time and money this year. Staff ushered patrons through as fast as possible in ridiculously large groups. They put 18 people in our group, so those lucky few at the front had a good time, while the remaining 15 of us experienced only disappointment. The end of the group attempted to enjoy ourselves by slowing down so scarers/props would have time to reset, but staff forced us to catch up and simply watch their actors get back into position. We spent $90 for three of us to essentially walk through a museum of Halloween props. read more

This place is awesome if you want a little scare. And also gets you thinking. I highly recommend it. Loved it and definitely going back soon. The hosts were awesome. Thanks so much for the fun experience read more

Best house I've been too in a long time. Better than haunted mines. The haunt utilized three levels of a building and all the decor was one with the building. Anything and everything had attention to details. All the actors were one with their environment too. Also they let you through in small groups. It makes for a longer line but well worth it. read more

Our first escape room experience was absolutely amazing, we had such a great time and the employees were so awesome. We were greeted right away when we walked in and everything was explained and all of our questions were answered. We did the elevator and went through multiple levels and rooms. They have a walkie talkie system and clues were given when we got stuck on puzzles. We can't wait to go back and do another escape room. Hands down would recommend this, the option to pick scary makes it even better too! read more

This is my second year going to this haunted house and it's a definitely a good one for Colorado Springs. It's well done and lots of things to jump at. It took a good amount of time to go through also. One complaint is that the group in front of us was going to slow so we kept running into them. Actors did a great job, and a lot of neat props! read more

It was really eventful, different themes with very devoted actors. For the price I would say it's pretty fair. I would have to say though there's almost too much going on. There were never any just dark rooms to build up the fear, there was always something going on, some scare tactic, some flashing lights, some creepy thing. If got to the point where you just kept expecting it. But it was a lot of fun. Just not the scariest I've been too. read more

Watch out. Security will follow you through the entire experience, harass, and get in your face. You are on camera the entire time. While they did reimburse us, i would not recommend based on the behavior of the security personnel. read more

Being a holloween enthusiast this haunted house was one I recommended to all my friends as the best in Colorado springs after being in it a few times throughout this year. However I went in again recently and they sent me in with a group of 8+ . Who wants to waste their money watching the people in front of you to get scared? Not me! This group only grew to a group of 16( what kind of haunted house is this) the GM eventually came to talk and he asked why I wasn't happy with the haunted house so I let him know how many people we had in there but he tried telling me about his roll with 13th floor and hell scream then tried to separate the group which only worked for one minute since they packed everybody in. The point is if you are spending 56 dollars you should get a scare or have fun but this was a bust. Don't go. read more

We just did The Elevator Escape Room at Hellscream and what a great time!! This is the first time I have done an escape room and I can't wait to go try the others. The owner Vince could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Definitely would recommend going and trying this. The price is very reasonable and worth every penny! read more

Our family of 4 did the elevator escape room and we had a blast. We chose the scary version and that made it even more exciting! Would highly recommend if you enjoy a good scare as well as clever riddles! We are in town visiting for only a few more days and have seriously thought about going back to do one of the other escape rooms! read more

Highly disappointed with it this year. I have been to this place every time for the last three years and I have never been more sad to spend 40$ for two people and have such a boring experience. If i could have that money back i would love that but i can't and have nothing but a terrible taste in my mouth ever since i left. read more

This is for their escape rooms. My family and I have done them all so far and can't wait for new ones to open. The Elevator as our favorite and, although we didn't quite finish it, The Pen was a lot of fun as well. We just did The Manor and it was a blast! The puzzles are well thought out, the scares add a level of fun (and complexity as they run off with your clues!). Customer service is top notch. We scheduled the wrong times. Twice. And they fixed it without batting an eye - even once only an hour out. We've done other rooms and, although good, they don't stand up to this one. read more

This is the first time our group has ever done an escape room. We did the Manor. The instructions were clear and very well established. The challenge that we expected with the escape room was there and we choose medium difficulty. The scare factor was good. They definitely got a few screams and they did a good job. We plan on trying the other escape rooms Hellscream offers. It is very different from the norm and it is fun. I recommend everyone to try. read more

This haunted house was seriously understaffed and not at all scary. Me and my friend didn't have any fun and halfway through looked at each other and said we wished we hadn't paid to get in there. The lines were insanely long and we ended up coming out with the group in front of us and the group behind us. I do not recommend this place. read more
