This was a first time visit for my 12 y/o daughter today, 03/24/2017. The sole reason why I made an appointment for my daughter was to get a full set of acrylic nails put on solely for therapeutic intervention reasons due to having Trichotillomania, in particular with her eyebrows & eyelashes. When I initially called, I explained this to the employee & then asked if the nail tech was gentle in her preparation & application of the nails since my daughter also is a bit overly sensitive to physical pain. She assured me that the nail tech, Hannah, was very gentle. Hannah was ready & waiting for us with a big smile as we walked in. My daughter bonded very quickly with Hannah, which is a huge plus, so I just walked across the way & sat down to leave them be while checking up on the progress every now & then. I also noticed how very careful & gentle she really was with my daughter. The entire process took about 1 hour for a full set of career length nails, a regular manicure & a little bit of nail art, all for only $40!! NOT a bad deal at all! I was very impressed with the attention to detail & the overall quality of work Hannah produced, not to mention the added bonus of her not handling my daughter's cello-trained, long fingered beautiful hands like they were blast holes that needed to be jack hammered!! I've seen way too many nail techs in the past do that while I sit in horror & cringe expecting bloody stumps to be presented at the conclusion!! The ambience: the salon itself is a nice, clean & cozy spot utilizing soft, natural sunlight first vs. blinding you w/ artificial bright lights. The owner & other employees were very amiable, talkative & funny. We were also given discount cards for future services before we left. We will most surely be returning for repeat services!!
