I had two very negative experiences at this AutoZone and would not recommend their services…read more The first time, I went in to have a headlight bulb replaced. During the installation, one of the plastic components on my headlight assembly was broken. This damage now requires me to replace the entire headlight, which is discontinued and extremely difficult to find. While the employees attempted to locate the part and claimed it was in stock based on online information, it turned out it was not available anywhere. Throughout this process, the staff appeared inexperienced, unknowledgeable, and lacked a positive or professional attitude, which only added to the frustration of the situation. About a month prior to that visit, I had gone to the same location for a new car battery. The employees struggled significantly to remove the old battery. After installing the new one, they applied a jelly-like substance to "prevent corrosion." Unfortunately, this caused the opposite effect and led to my starter failing, which cost me over $500 to repair. Due to these repeated issues, poor workmanship, and unprofessional service, I would strongly recommend either doing the work yourself or going to a professional mechanic instead of relying on this location for installations or assistance.

We telephoned Auto Zone on THF Blvd in Chesterfield for help. The manager, Brad W., went way beyond the call of duty to help us. Not only did he source the correct car battery quickly, have it in stock, and give us the best price available including a promotional discount, but he actually immediately drove to meet us in the parking lot of the store where we were stranded and he installed the battery for us there, on the spot, at no additional charge! This kind of attention and service is never seen any more in modern times - not anywhere. Thank you, Manager Brad W, and thank you AutoZone Chesterfield on THF Blvd. We will never shop anywhere else for our car needs again.

The other Service Advisors were cool (lady was nice). When I was brought to his station by the garage attendant, the dude with the receding hairline didn't even acknowledge me. While I could understand that he was dealing with a previous customer's paperwork, a quick glance up and a Hello would have been customary at any place of business. Dude was grumpy AF. I guess he forgot or doesn't care that Porsche sends out customer surveys after every visit. Anyways, I had a better conversation with the tech who was able to explain to me what was going on with my car. The tech was also the one who brought my keys to me when he was done. Thank goodness that i didn't have to deal with the Service advisor again; the dude was seriously a poor reflection of Porsche. The tech, however, was friendly and cool. The young ladies in the front were nice to make fresh coffee while I waited. However, if you want a refill, don't dare touch their coffee machine or else the old, blonde woman (looked like some floor manager?) will scold you - you've been warned lol. Having been to about 5 Porsche service centers in the US, this was on the low end. Overall, it is an OK service center. Location was convenient as I live only a few miles away. However, next time, I think I'll drive the extra distance to go to the Hanley Service Center instead.
